LA shot 42 goals until now this season which is by far more than any other mls team but they conceded 45 which is also a lot more than any other mls team (eastern and western). If they had a descent defence they could lead mls by far. That must be really frustrating! Is there no money left to buy some descent defenders?

As a Galaxy fan, it's frustrating to watch this team this. Last year was a mess because of Beckham's injuries but this year there's no excuse. Fact is the D's been bad all year, regardless of personnel changes. As Bruce Arena, considering these 1st 2 games, he's still at least 2 weeks away from getting this team to where he'd like. Again, it's the D he has to fix. I feel bad for S.Cronin too. Most good keepers have a decent D & this kid never had it. Nonetheless, GO GALAXY!

Twellman is so nasty. Just goes to show you how much adrenaline there is when you score because he didnt even feel that elbow to the face until like a minute after. haha he immediatley got up and celebrated.
Ok, Eddie Lewis...finally a worthy transfer with an immediate impact. Have to say Arena is working with what he's got. They look better, even with just 3 days of practice with that roster. Could have been another blowout. Defense/goalie are still very weak, though. Josh Wicks looked very unsure, but can't really blame him. He's been injured most of the year anyway. I don't know how anyone could support keeping Cronin in goal for next year (yup, guess I'm already looking there, lol).
I don't like to just say Cronin is really a problem myself, since the whole defence is having issues protecting the ball, but at the same time Cronin....well he really isn't that good is he? he might be with a strong defence but a good defence may only hide the fact he still....just isn't really that good. hehe :) Still love the Galaxy though!

Reis, Onstead...these dudes were All Stars. No wonder those teams are always in the Cup. Just look at the depth of the Revs, from top to bottom -- solid. As a major MLS club, it's insane that LA can't get some better talent in D. Anyway, I'm with ya...GO GALAXY! Pull a comeback!!
