The guy who plays the shadmock is a really good actor as hes from new zealand in real life, mistake at 08:58 someones legs sorry to be geeky just noticed it lol
I am sure, if she had just considered his words, and not the fear she left in his mysterious appearance, she would have been made quite happy, rich, and whistle-free. :)
I just love this poor half-monster character. So much, I am seriously considering making a shirt with an illustration from the monster tree of the Shadmock. :)
i think the character angela is so creeped out by him because she senses subconsciously he's not really living. even she admits that he's terrifying --not just his looks, but something unexplainable. god knows what kind of pherimones he's giving off! you know what i mean, chilihead?
@michelleattila Things are always different when you meet someone in person. So she is probably sensing strange "vibes" as I call them. I think I know what you are trying to get at. (Chiliheadwizard was my old alias.)
I still do this day don't get what is so scary about him. He just looks like a goth dressed in a Beatle suit or something. Did the novel have a more frightening look about him or something because really, she gives poor Raven a bad wrap. The way he looked? Frightening? Pweh! She don't know scary until she met Ozzie Osbourne or maybe my own husband. Hee hee...
To be fair running is a bit of an extreme response to ugliness, if it wasn't, john prescott would've had a hard time getting staff - I cant do it, he looked at me like I was a cream bun
Horror anthologies are a treasure. Especially in these days of short attention spans and having trouble finding the time to watch an entire movie all at once.

Apart from his white pancake make-up and shaggy eyebrows, I always thought he was quite the romantic dish .... foolish girl.

"There's something you should know. Something that people find very hard about me. although I pride myself on being an easy taskmaster"
" You beat up your secretaries?"
"No. This blasted incidental music starts everytime I look at someone!"

This is my favourite episode in the movie. I felt so badly for the poor guy. He was a gentle soul who was horribly betrayed.

Why does he always wear those black (leather?) gloves? Just might be a kinky chap, eh? Interesting.

James Laurenson, the guy who plays Raven, would be quite fancy-able without that white face. And the haircut needs to go - he looks like Paul Muni.
I love birds, so I like when he interacted with/fed them. But then... bad kitty!
