Depends on if you want XLR plugs. If you don't need them: Check out the FX1000 or the FX7, both great cameras.

If you do, all I can think of at the top of my head would be the HVRV1U. Take a look at it.

thanks you are right the Sony HVR-A1E is a small camera i am gonna buy it and capture those vids with magix video deluxe ,but can you capture those mini dv tapes what i have recorded with canon xm2 in hd quality if i put the mini dv tape into

a hd camera.?

Not really. The Sony Z series are quite small but give greay HD shots. The Z7 I think is the smallest in the line. Why not look at the Panasonic DVX200? Thats also quite small.
