Look at the old underwater topography maps of that circle crater in the middle...It hardly stands out at all in the new pics(like this). It seems the ocean floor has caved in everywhere around it. Maybe it's from the weight of all the extra ice melting in Antartica. God wants to save us from the higher water table...but the floor will keep caving and the land will compensate,falling.

We have more media pumping information in our faces like never before. People who publish irresponsible YouTube videos like this never look to science and reason. I've lived in Memphis for 30+years and we've always had earth quakes the ones I felt were small but I did feel them now this shit these people are talking about is making me want to move but I think the earthquakes are only the start for what's to come but no this I'm going to be ready for whatever happens!!!!!!

In the 1800's there was a 9.0 there. Since the New Madrid Fault area is bigger than the San Andreas fault area - it'd be a big one. There's a two part video here somewhere that talks about it. Aside from the religious views in it, it does have viable information.

It is not unusall there are frequently about 100 small Earthquakes a Year in Germany that usually dont do Damage or harm. But i have to admit that about the last half Year it starts to come in shorter Timedistances, not more voilent but more often
For the past week or so; there have been small earthquakes north of Little Rock, AR, and near the the New Madrid fault. (crossing the Missouri/Tenn. line). Also in Eastern Tenn. and close by that one in N. Carolina. As well as one near the Alabama/Florida panhandle (offshore) a few days ago.
I don't know if the large buildings in St. Louis, Little Rock and Memphis have been constructed to withstand quakes.

I live in California and we get so many little earthquakes here I don't even feel them unless they're over 5.0. @royalspin Yes, with the density of water being roughly 1 gram per cm cubed which varies with temperature and salinity but the variance is not a truly a variable because a gram is a gram yet volume varies. I still think humans (most) look at only one factor. What effect this may have at this stage is purely hypothetical for sure, but galaxies have a very thin gravitational band about the plane which is what we are about to cross. So a physics lesson wouldn't really help here because this is all new science. Even the astronomers are learning new info daily. But no doomsday, I agree.

I've been going to the USGS site frequently since 2004. Back then we'd get an average of 350 EQ's every 7 days. Around 2008 the average jumped up to around 750. Since then, the highest I've seen was around 1275. As of yesterday, IT WAS 3713 EQ's within 7 days!!! Wff! Something is churning!

I see a lot of HAARP activity and strange rainbows before the China, Haiti, Chili earthquakes. And nowI am about 150 miles from the Baja 7.1 on 4/4/2010. This one rocked my boat! This is on a fault almost connects to the main San Andreas Fault. The media covered the 7.1 but not the 4 and 5 aftershocks every few minutes for days now!
I have been searching for a little spot of land for some time now. Earthquake and tornado activity are some of the things that I look at. I have also noticed many more on Google Earth in the last few months. With the Chili earthquake I saw the effects. I am in a marina in southern CA and we saw tsunami waves. Not the huge breaking waves but the ocean levels changed dramatically (about 10-15) in minutes. The docks and boats were sitting on the bottom.
i saw an earthquake blip on my local news station, and then the newscastere quickly continued and it didn't get brought up again.....i wonder why they are not disclosing all of these earthquakes thorougly....???...they don't want to cause panic?

I thinks that's a very interesting question. I read, as another person had already commented, that when there is a big quake, the earth begins the try to distribute the tension caused by expansions or recession in the earths crust. I believe there is a connection between certain quakes and activity on other faults. One would think that this should be investigated. It seems like the info available is still basic and primative and enough research hasn't been done.
Brazil is not a earthquake-prone zone, but you can see that we also had a strong tremor on january the 11th VERY unusual) not that far away from the Caribbean (M 4.3, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil on January 11th, 2010 15:53:56 UTC. Notice the depth:11.50 km (7.15 mi). You may notice as well that there were several other eartrhquakes along the Caribbean plate on the previous days, as well as during the aftershocks.

We have more media pumping information in our faces like never before. People who publish irresponsible YouTube videos like this never look to science and reason. At the time of the quake of Japan I looked at the subject of quakes on google myself & was amazed to find that there had been over 254 quakes throughout the world in ONE WEEK, from 0.4 to 0.9 more from the 0.5 range upwards & now there are a few too many volcano's erutpting to add to the mix. but theres nothing we can do. except just sit n watch the devastion as it all happens around us... now Chile & Russia are in danger with their volcano eruptions & more quakes.. xx

In the 1800's there was a 9.0 there. Since the New Madrid Fault area is bigger than the San Andreas fault area - it'd be a big one. There's a two part video here somewhere that talks about it. Aside from the religious views in it, it does have viable information.

Its not only in the US.Here in Germany we have many smaller Earthquakes too, about the same Timeperiode:
December 2010 - Wiesbaden
14.2 - 2011 - Köln/Koblenz
16.2 - 2011 - Nassau
23.02 - 2011 - Chez Republik (Epi center near Chemnitz Germany)
It is not unusall there are frequently about 100 small Earthquakes a Year in Germany that usually dont do Damage or harm. But i have to admit that about the last half Year it starts to come in shorter Timedistances, not more voilent but more often

For the past week or so; there have been small earthquakes north of Little Rock, AR, and near the the New Madrid fault. (crossing the Missouri/Tenn. line). Also in Eastern Tenn. and close by that one in N. Carolina. As well as one near the Alabama/Florida panhandle (offshore) a few days ago.
I don't know if the large buildings in St. Louis, Little Rock and Memphis have been constructed to withstand quakes.
My prayers are with the people who live in the area.

Look, the reason the little earthquakes in the Midwest aren't getting a lot of attention is because they're -tiny-. I live in California and we get so many little earthquakes here I don't even feel them unless they're over 5.0. Yes, earthquakes happen simultaneously all over the world because all the plates are on the same planet! It'd be like shaking a plate of jello and expecting only part of the jello to move!

Haarp, research it. Electromagnetic Pole shifts, the real reason why the North and South poles are nearly free of 'Ice.' It generates lots of heat. The Earth has been cooling for 13 years now, fact. All that fresh water in the ice, has four times the amount of volume than typical water, imagine what it will do to currents and weather extremes due to quick evaporation rates. they could be a result of the ongoing gush of oil spewing into the Gulf of Mexico at I believe, 200,000 gallons a day from cracks all along the floor of the Gulf. The worst of it, from the maps I have seen, is leaking into the area where the mississippi opens into the big water. a few miles iI htink, offshore. that would be about the worst place for the Madrid Fault to have to take stress from.

The solar winds, lightning and earth's magnetosphere all interact. 2012 is the year of the solar pole shift maximum flare activity. Just as the moon has a gravitational pull on the earth, objects including planets all affect each other. "Visual positioning" is exactly how satellites are launched and the trajectory predicted.

Namely around the arctic and Antactica. Even if it did all melt, wouldn't make all that much of a difference in sea levels as this ice already disburses the liquid ocean around it relative to its mass.

I still think humans (most) look at only one factor. I believe it is multifactorial that few interconnect because of the complexity of the phenomenon and ignorance of mainstream science secondary to lack of data, secrecy and inflated egos.

@royalspin Well 26,000 ly to be exact. And the precessional period is the same, coincidence? Most likely not. Our visual position is not changing, our actual position is. What effect this may have at this stage is purely hypothetical for sure, but galaxies have a very thin gravitational band about the plane which is what we are about to cross. So a physics lesson wouldn't really help here because this is all new science. Even the astronomers are learning new info daily. But no doomsday, I agree.

I've been going to the USGS site frequently since 2004. Back then we'd get an average of 350 EQ's every 7 days. Around 2008 the average jumped up to around 750. Since then, the highest I've seen was around 1275. As of yesterday, IT WAS 3713 EQ's within 7 days!!! Wff! Something is churning!

This is on a fault almost connects to the main San Andreas Fault. The media covered the 7.1 but not the 4 and 5 aftershocks every few minutes for days now!

I have been searching for a little spot of land for some time now. Earthquake and tornado activity are some of the things that I look at. I have also noticed many more on Google Earth in the last few months. With the Chili earthquake I saw the effects. I am in a marina in southern CA and we saw tsunami waves. Not the huge breaking waves but the ocean levels changed dramatically (about 10-15) in minutes. The docks and boats were sitting on the bottom.

i saw an earthquake blip on my local news station, and then the newscastere quickly continued and it didn't get brought up again.....i wonder why they are not disclosing all of these earthquakes thorougly....???...they don't want to cause panic?

@hawk7900 I dont know where you get your info but none of the old yellowstone craters even come close to Missouri. The last eruptions crater didnt even extend outside the boudarys of the park.

The Mayan Civilization new of this too long before Jesus. Study both the bible and also what the ancients knew before us. A lot of major earthquakes about to break out. And yes solar weather affects the tectonic plates. Now since a couple major earthquakes set the plates in motion its acting like a chain reaction, remember it said in the bible that in end times that the rocks would cry out to his name becuase many were not worrshiping his name and i think thats what we are seeing. The news isnt saying anything becuase all hell is about to break loose. L.A and all up the west coast is screwed.

Good eye for finding this info! This isn't anything Jesus didn't predict. The Bible says they will increase like birth pains of a woman in labor, growing closer together. That seems to be what we see here

Galactic Alignment "zone" is 1998 +/- 18 years = 1980 - 2016. when earth is pulled due to this alignment. Add Nibiru or planet x and hopefully they will cancel each other out somewhat and we will slowly stop rotation darkness for 3 days, then spin in reverse sun rises in west. Jesus says earth in distress before He comes, distress a good word for earthquake activity

I thinks that's a very interesting question. I read, as another person had already commented, that when there is a big quake, the earth begins the try to distribute the tension caused by expansions or recession in the earths crust. I believe there is a connection between certain quakes and activity on other faults. One would think that this should be investigated. It seems like the info available is still basic and primative and enough research hasn't been done.

Brazil is not a earthquake-prone zone, but you can see that we also had a strong tremor on january the 11th VERY unusual) not that far away from the Caribbean (M 4.3, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil on January 11th, 2010 15:53:56 UTC. Notice the depth:11.50 km (7.15 mi). You may notice as well that there were several other eartrhquakes along the Caribbean plate on the previous days, as well as during the aftershocks.

wow im glad you put this on here just noticed a feb 1st 1.1 earthquake near ogden UT where I live i didnt even see local news coverage it is pretty weak but couldent it lead to a larger earthquake?

There is a strong connection between solar maximums and geothermal activity on earth. There are some astrophysicts who are even making a connection between the solar polar shifts and earths polar shift. If you are a pilot, you know the shift as isogonic deviation. flash

One thing they don't talk about in the news, is that one big earthquake, can cause chain reactions throughout the other faults on Earth as the faults settle. This is due to the first fault shifting and settling, that causes the other faults to feel the effects as well. Yellostone has been feeling clusters of 200-500 earthquakes daily since December.
