  • will this help slim my legs. i'm 13 years old and i have skinny arms (wayyyy lack of muscle) and large thighs (juniors size 9). i'm tall so i looks right but i want a balanced body so how can i slim down my thighs :)

    i hav a problem :( i hav a small upper body but i hav large thighs :( so one of my goals is to tone them up :) but when i do squats my back goes nearly horizontal. will this effect the move or my results? any advice will be great :)

  • hi, i'm 17 and i tore my ACL about 7 months ago, and even though I am done with therapy and pretty much back to normal, my Dr said I should try and avoid squats, lunges, and stairs. I was wondering if there were other ways for me to tone up my legs and thighs? Hope you can help. also, thanks so much for all these videos! both of you are so great and inspiring!

  • hi, i was wondering if there were other ways to tone up your thighs and legs? I'm 17 and tore my ACL about 6 months ago and i'm done with therapy and back to normal, but my Dr told me that lunges, squats, and stairs would be bad for my knees. hope you can help. and thanks so much for all of your videos, you two are great and so inspiring!

  • I love your workout.

    I try to get one of my friends to work out with me but she has this bad experience with working out in the past. She bulked up. And somehow she got bigger instead of slimmer. She didn't get any muscle tone either.

    Could it be her diet that makes her bulk up? Or is it just her body type?? She's pretty fit but on a bigger side and wanna get more tone. The biggest problem is when she works out, she gets bigger and bigger.

  • If she's not doing any cardio, that's her problem. Strength training doesn't get rid of fat, it just adds muscle. If you're not getting rid of the fat, you won't be able to notice any toning of the muscles.

    Also,she could be eating more to make up for the calories she burns without realising it. It's what i did when I was in school sports :p

    How much is she lifting?

    I heard to tone up and slim down, lift lighter weights and do more reps.

    To bulk up lift heavier weights less reps.

    Also, how much protien is she taking in?

    I know I started bulking up when I was taking in to much protien.

  • @pogocoffee we lift pretty heavy!! as long as you can do 15-20 reps then you shouldn't bulk up-- also think about it this way- we do push-ups with our body weight, so basically we are 'bench pressing' 130-140 pounds. When we squat our body weight- it's the weight of our torso too. we love chin-ups and doing body weight exercises. recently we made a workout video for memorial day, you should try it out!! xoo

  • Btw the single leg straight leg deadlift does burn quite a bit on the last few reps and I'm a 14 yr old athlete, if ur out of shape, you will DEF be feeling it.

  • I did 2 sets of 15 reps of the single leg straight leg deadlift and the fire hydrant exercise (the latter is not in this video, but u can google it) last night and i can feel it in my legs a little bit today. I'll do it again this week but add another set and some more exercises so I'll feel more of that burn! (: Thanks for the videos, they're very helpful.

  • I don't know if I can bend my knee yet without destroying my medial meniscus. I guess I'll just have to watch these nice ladies and hopefully do this exercise in a few weeks.
