@hero, thx. btw, the ONE thing i would do different is to put the motor against the wall just inside and atop the doors instead of the motor in the traditional center spot. this is better as the logic circuit in the motor thinks the door is closing when the door IS closing, and thus the safety protocols will work. in its current form, the logic circuit thinks the door is opening when it is closing and the eye beams work in reverse and the closing tension sensor only works during opening.

how neat thats a nice project you did did you go to home depot and is the openers reverse force adjustable or one direction;
