  • Is there anybody else who this song reminds of the suffering that happens every single day, from a teenage suicide to a starving child in Africa.. So many atrocities happen every single day, why can't people open their eyes and see that >.<

  • whos the guest vocalist?

  • @VampKidTony Mest and Goldfinger

  • 911 Tribute... man i remembering hearing this the weeks following that tragic day....4th grade wow

  • Just because it has the word religion in it does not mean that it is an intelligent idea to sit here like morons and talk about jesus... and god.. and religion... It has nothing to do with the song, and you people act like its a crime to not believe in a higher power. This song also has nothing to do with Homosexuality... So why bring it up unless you just want to start something? Amazing song. Amazing band. Keep on going on.

  • this wasnt a good charlotte song, this was composed written n performed by goldfinger. not good charlotte, they n mest were invited just to sing along...geeez

  • This doesn't only concern Race on Religion, but Homosexuality too. People call Homosexuality a disease, and a Sin. But when did god reject love? And do people go to hell for being diseased? Homophobia is the Disease here. Christianity has started almost all hate towards different people.

  • @MrMcGale true that. if god really rejected them or so called hated them, he would not have created Homosexual people...

  • @JuggaletteSharpie That's if you believe in God. I'm an Atheist so I don't want to do anything that has Religion in it. Bible was made by people who just wanted to hate someone.

  • @irisstone80sRocK3 i heard that the japanese were super polite, no looting that kind of stuff, such nice people:) honorable people

  • @ken1626 yeah we just got to hope for the best and thats all we can do

  • @irisstone80sRocK3 donate to them :D

  • @ken1626 I did. :) At least this is the only way we all can help the Japanese people. (:

  • @denysuca13 yep:)

  • @ken1626 What happened to Japan is a terrible thing. It's awful, and I think people should pay more attention to all of these things because these shouldn't happen to anybody. The Japanese people are innocent and I respect them a lot for everything they have done.

  • @denysuca13 ya they totally dont deserve it, help them out support them they need it

  • @denysuca13 Nature doesn't care about innocence... the earthquake is a natural hazard, cycle of earth.

  • see this type of quality song sound be on the radio, not songs about gang, sex and drugs....

  • @PcMacTech88 Yeah, this song is great, it's one of the best songs of GD. And it has also a great meaning.

  • I love songs with meaning like this :) (BTW: nice pics, perfect song and i think that combination like this is really serious ;))

  • Never heard this before (and am a longtime GC fan - I like Goldfinger + was a Mest fan back in the day) its awesome! =D

  • This song is so sad! The first time I ever listened to this song I was so close to crying and I don't cry easily. BTW... I LOVE THE SONG! Thank you for putting this up!!!

  • It's been so long since I've heard this band and this has always been my favourite song and the lyrics make it obvious. :3

  • It's Goldfinger, GC and Mest.

  • this song never gets old, so much meaning

  • when did GC make this song????

wtf how come i didnt know!!!??

they have so many little songs that are unheard of and its annoying cuz now i want this song on my ipod!! dammmm this is really annoying!!

    GC rules btw CARDIOLOGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RyuMaster121 It was published right after 9/11.

  • @RyuMaster121 Maybee because It's not just GC :P It was written by the band goldfinger and is featured on their album. GC cooperated with them, so the song was never on a GC album. I've got this song on my goldfinger greatest hits album at least, so that's how I explain it :P

  • could be applied to any disaster....WW2, Rwandan genocide, 9 11... list goes on.

  • @LordTaylorK I have heard that it was at least inspired by 9/11, and the line "And now we stand together, remembering that day" sorta makes me think it is about 9/11. You're right, though, definitely could be applied to any disaster.

  • @LoveChildOfDeath yeah they wrote it about 9/11

  • @LoveChildOfDeath But the line "their religion or their skin" is calling out the ignorant people who blamed all muslims and other people of middle eastern descent. Then "hate can't solve the problem it began," means those who blamed are not any better.

  • Love this song <3 ;_;

  • I heard this song was based on 9/11.

I can see why. And Armaggedon or however its spelled, I think they were talking about "end of the world" for 2000. Pssh, lol, LIES!!! ALL LIES!!! And they're saying the same thing for 2012. Riiight... but I love this song <3 GC ROCKS

  • this song is great yet so beautiful *cry*

  • is Tom delonge the one who sings with joel?

  • @sweetestpoison16 John Feldman from Goldfinger and Tony Lovato from Mest.

  • Great song, classic.
