To Ryan, you just contridicted yourself. A Super Band is a band created by a record label by taking members of other bands and throwing them together. For example, Avenged Sevenfold is a super band like it or not. They were created by bands from the 90's. As far as Slipknot goes, Joey was recruited from Anal Blast as the same for a guitarist. While the others were recruited by Stone Sour. They were created by a manager that worked for RR. As for Joey, He is no Buddy Rich.

@warubandgeek Slipknot are not a super-band. Check out Monte Connors Interview for the 10th anniversary of Slipknot if you don't believe. Slipknot spent a while on the circuit in Des Moines. RoadRunner refused to sign them initially, even though they were being supported by an RR Associate. Slipknot 101, the original MFKR album wasn't even the original Slipknot line-up, how can you claim them to be a 'super-band' with this in mind????

I pretty much got this song down thanks to this video. TWO PROBLEMS I HAVE THOUGH. The constant blast beats and quads. The blast beats is the hardest part for me. No matter how hard I try and practice, I CANNOT do double bass and blast beats. I find myself straining and making this weird ass face. What are some excercises you did to make it work? Or was it all just practice?

just practice practice holding out long single stroke rolls on a pillow since blast beats r the same as single rolls the pillow will make no bounce making ur hands and arms do all the work so ull get better

i have a practice where i play R1&, L2, R&3, L&, R4& (i hope that makes sense) so pretty two times on right then 1 on left and repeat. you do that measure twice, then switch so two on left hand then 1 on right.

on double pedals, you can try the same thing. but im dont have double pedals so i havent tried that exercise.

I don't think that the audio being synced with the video is the problem with the sound differential. I synced all of mine with audio and the only problem is snare flamming...but yours sounded like the timing was off. It was ahead in some places, behind in others. Granted, this song is fairly fast, so there's a little leeway there, but I would still work on the timing of going into the fills.
