1. There is freedom of speech and that officer has the right to say what he thinks in a real democracy. People (read: women) who choose censorship or punishment for freedom of speech don't believe in democracy and behave like fascists.

Women shame men all the time and nobody cares, a police officer said (remember, in a democracy with freedom of speech) the word "slut" and there is a massive walk organized all over the world. Really? I mean.. really?

Approximately 40% of rape claims in America are proven to be false. There is either insufficient evidence for a conviction or the claimant retracts her statement. In those incidences she will usually be let away with a minimal sentence of community service (Duke Lacrosse accuser), after the man has had his name tarnished forever and spent time in jail.
