People on the internet underestimate how difficult it is to remember words, blocking, expression, and to execute a song well in live theatre. Her voice is beautiful, and she performed the song incredibly.

@Metropolised I agree. It is incredibly hard to remember words and blocking, especially for me! Blocking is a bitch, especially if your fellow actors blank out on stage. People go to different plays and musicals, and critique them on others they've seen. They don't understand that different age levels have different difficulties and some plays may be easier for some to do than others.

The band was fine except that the French horn player wasn't up to the task... if i were musical director I would have taken away some of those high notes. When you have such an exposed part, you got to be able to cut it. It's not fair to the vocalist to have to deal with someone flubbing such an important line while she's singing her heart out.
