Can someone explain why the MMI controls in this version are up on the dash where as in other cars I have seen it on the center console. Basically the drive dynamics controls are swapped with the MMI controls in this car? Is that a mannual vs atuo thing...

@mjmasood It's definitely not a manual vs. automatic thing. I'm 95% certain this is because this car doesn't have NAV. This car is about as basic as it gets. Note the lack of a color driver information system that you get with the NAV (I believe) and/or the prestige package.

@iworms who cares haha, he taped a manual version of it (that's the rare one) because almost no one in the U.S. drives a manual anymore for various reasons. I drive both, I have a manual 3000gt VR4 that is my project car right now and I love it. And my other one is a beater aka a Honda Civic which I used to commute to work, and I love it also, since it doesn't require a lot of maintenance on its part.

@TheSaikou96 It does but it has a few issues. Some people have noticed it shifts at odd times and hangs up in gears. It also makes an odd sound when shifting. I'd highly recommend the manual if you can tolerate it in traffic.

I love how much more this costs than my VW CC. The MMI screen is smaller, the Information screen is the ancient red on red, versus my white on black. All the interior buttons/knobs make an unsatisfying tink versus nicely damped. The shifter is identical minus the slightly lower strip of metal on the backside. And my iPod integration is done better. It flips down out of the glovebox so its not even noticeable.

@05Forenza Those details might be relevant but you forgot to factor in the performance this Audi has. It's not what's on the face of it it's whats under the hood and the rest of the mechanical parts. Also, the camera can make things sound different than real life.

And on the Executive trim of the CC, it upgrades more interior bits that are more on par with an A6. But still cheaper than the S4, thats whats miffing. ....If that made any sense lol

My favorite part of your tours are when you pop the hood and give all the perfomance data as well as MPG. I remember in one of your update vids you said you try to plan ahead and know the specs so you don't have to put annotaions up. In my opinion I think you should do both so the viewer gets an auditory and a visual. Also, finding out the MPG for some of your older vehicle vids would be quite interesting as well :)
