I wish the same thing could be said about the warning systems in Canada, up here in Canada, the Canadian NWS equivilent, Environment Canda doesn't have the resources to notify people of the severity of the impending situation until just right before it happens. Nobody ever bothers to go to Environment Canada's website to check the warnings or special weather statements anyway.
