I read an article in the Dallas Morning News today about the death of Malcolm Mclaren and all they talked about in reference to his life was his clothing store in London and his association with the Sex Pistols. That is not how I knew of him AT ALL!!! I knew of him through his music. The album Fans was spectacular! Unparalleled!. God Bless his family and may Malcolm rest in peace. XOXO Sandra Cuellar

Just like Samphibian, this song brings back strong memories of the good old days spent standing on a narrow window sill holding a gym towel soaked with bleach. The aroma of the bleach permiating and entering my nostrils as both universes flew past at five times the speed of sound. The feel of fresh warm urine running down my leg from my jocks and one of my gym socks filling my mouth. The muffled sounds made by my attempts to sing the lyrics. Suckling on the sickly sweet taste of my gym shoes.

Thanks for posting this. I have a funny connection to this song, which is that it was on a friend's boombox one chilly day when I was sniffing ether in high school. Standing on the windowsill with a clean white gym sock soaked with ether in my hand, I was profoundly affected by the sadness and beauty of the music and the story of Madame Butterfly. The whole universe was cool, buzzing, sweetly sad and exquisite.
