  • Adorable little goat! I want one! ^__^

  • oh hes adorable!

  • How much room do you need for a goat? Is a backyard alright?

  • @parasitic15 goats need about 16 square inches of room, but if you are considering a miniature breed you can use less, although goats love to run and jump around so i would recommend more.

  • Oh man i would tap that.

  • They look great, you plan on showing them?

  • OMG I REALLY WANT ONE NOW! So cute!

  • sooo cute!

We're thinking of getting baby goats soon. Cant wait

  • Pygmy goats are my favourite animals. :) I can't wait to get one. I've always been fond of goats and goats are always fond of me. LOL Pygmys are fantastic creatures!

  • They look a lot like my pygmy goat :D

Though, why doesn't the mom goat have any horns? I thought all pygmy goats did.

  • All Pygmy goats are genetically horned. A large % of breeders prefer no horns (as do a majority of buyers). If dehorning, it must be done at between 7-14 days of age so no horns ever grow. It is a 30 second procedure with only a few seconds of discomfort to the kids and recovery is almost instantanious - they are returned to their moms for a comforting snack within a few minutes and are usually out romping again before we've finished dehorning the rest of the litter. :)

  • Why do goats love climbing on things so much? they even love climbing on other animals ive noticed. its really cute :D

  • yesterday my goat got 2 baby goat and one looked like that one onn the rock

  • I love the commentary

    goats are awesome

  • Mmmmmmmm Kababs! Goats are a delicacy in Macedonia!

  • What a nice doe, are you a registered breeder i the national pygmy goat association?

  • Sorry this is so late - I haven't checked my U-Tube vids recently.

Yes, I have been raising Pygmies since the mid-70s. I have had a fully NPGA registered herd of show & breeding quality Pygmy goats since 1991. Our herd name is "Spring Promise". Some of the excellent lines I've incorporated into my herd are J-Lynn (CA), Desert Suns (OR), Daworth's (hmm ... west coast), Ash-Ana Acres (ID) and Whirlwind Farms (CA), among others. I believe strongly in form following function.

  • i used to have 3 pet goats, and it might sound weird , we used to drink its milk.

The mom had twins and rejected the smaller one : ( but i love my little reject anyway : ) he is soo messy though!! i gotta post some videos of him running around my house... he loves tile floors its so funny! he sits there looking at himself then runs and leaps and jumps and stuff then slides across the floor, looks up at me, and wags his little tail : )

  • yabai kawaii

  • A truely beautiful video x

  • awll!!!!!!!

  • haha so cute.

  • It really depends on who you buy Pygmy goats from, but they can be anywhere from $50-250.

Goats are however not very house friendly as they will eat, chew and destroy everything due to their curious nature.

House training goats is difficult but I've heard of people doing it. You'd actually have more trouble keeping them from eating your couch...

  • how much are this goats i live in texas can you reply in a message??

  • Is it possible to keep these goats indoor?

    They're amazing.

  • he is just beautiful :)

  • FUCK i love goats!

  • i am so in love with goats. i've got to get one soon! soooo cute and soo funny.

  • you need 2

  • im getting a pygmy goat soon, can you litter train them? xD i see many people have them as house pets

  • I've never been sure WHY anyone would want to litter box train a goat. Can't you see how much they enjoy being outdoors? Leaping and romping and playing - running and jumping in the sunshine ... nibbling grass or tree branches whenever they want ... why would you want to keep them indoors?

  • I agree. I had a baby nubian who lost his mother and had to be in a garage for sometime while bottlefed and nursed back to health and he was very unhappy. Goats need to be outside to have a quality life.

  • Personally, unless a person had at least enough of a yard (fenced, with access to ornamental plants restricted) and a couple of outside "toys" of some sort to play on, goats are not a good choice of pets no matter how much they might like them. Goats NEED sunshine and room outdoors DAILY to run and romp and play.

  • @snowgooseAK is 12 acres enough for me to have a few of these little guys?

  • @snowgooseAK Are you able to train them to know to go outside when they need to use the bathroom then? I'm not getting one, as much as I'd like to, just pain curiousity.

  • @TransparentYoshi

I suppose you think everyone is entitled to whatever they wish as long as the reason justifies it in their eyes. You're pathetic. It's dipsh*ts like you that get what they want and when it becomes too difficult to take care of. you abandon it or leave it for someone else to worry about.

  • @TransparentYoshi

Something about that seems fundamentally fucked up to me. Iiiiiiii want, Iiiiii like, Iiiiiiiii will enslave this creature and confine it to an unnatural environment. At least cats and dogs are mutants taht basically have to live inside because we've screwed with their DNA. Can't some creatures just stay undomesticated? Goat+apartment=unnatural

  • @snowgooseAK Oh I wouldn't want to keep them indoor, I was more wondering.

  • @orange01028 no

  • Thank you for these wonderful videos! I've watched though them all and look forward to seeing the goats again.

    xx

  • Iditarod was only two weeks old in this video, so he was still very much nursing his mom - and would continue for another six weeks or so. We don't wean kids until 8-10 weeks of age. Intact bucklings like Iditarod must be weaned and removed from the doe pen at this age because they can be precocious breeders - we wouldn't want any does bred accidently and yes, these little boys CAN be fertile at 8-10 weeks of age!

  • is he off milk

  • Need more videos!!!!

  • He is sooooo cute and so full of energy!

    I want one! :D

  • they are soooo cute!!!

  • EVERYONE (who has the room for them) should have Pygmy goats! This little boy, "Spring Promise Iditarod" has been a hoot this year. He is a brave little guy and always up to something. At two weeks old, he tries to keep up with the nearly 8-week-old triplet bucklings ... and very nearly succeeds! (L) His sister, "Classy" is just as cute and inquisitive, but daintier. Wouldn't you say? :)

  • You've convinced me... I MUST get some pygmy goats! :)
