  • Comment removed

  • how is the bigsby on this bad boy? GReat cover by the way!

  • @ashleylovesyou51097, it's an Epiphone Wildkat!

  • super good solo!!!!!! and nice guitar! wat kinda guitar is that?!? lol

  • Too much upstrumming. Slow down and go from the top!

  • @softsouthernknight haha thats just how i play! This was almost a year ago so my technique is less refined. I like to hit the trebly tones more, i find using upstrokes a lot does this, and its useful for left hand muting.

  • @joefishlangley Don't listen to softsouthernknight. You're playing just fine- but you have a more acoustic strumming style. You strum up and down in eighth notes ( down up down up down up) and hit the chord whenever it happens, be it an upstroke or downstroke. It's a very normal technique, and you don't need to lose it. :)

  • THIS SOUNDS AMAZING!! ive gott say, this is definitely the best cover of this song ive ever heard :D great job

  • @SnailOnABicycle woop thanks!!!!

  • Seriously great tone

  • excellent cover man, im tryna learn to play it off this video actually. see that chord at 15 seconds in, could u tell what ur fingers are doing, like what strings are u playing there

  • @johnnyXsniper not sure which one you mean, but the chord progression for the verse is |G#m| B | E | B . D#m |

  • @SOCIETYSCREAMS yeaah

  • I was just curious , does the back of the guitar look the same as the front?

  • @CapnCrossbones nah the back is a mellow kinda brown

  • @joefishlangley splendid :) keep playin hard man sounds good!

  • yeaha nice!

  • hey! great cover... could you send me the tabs of the intro?, i want to know what do you do with your pinky after the Gm

  • @mdominguez94 all you do is move your little finger to the B above the G# you're playing (7th of low E) :)

  • @joefishlangley thanks!

  • Great cover, how would you compare the p90's with humbuckers?

  • Thanks! :)

personally, i prefer the p90's.. i've not owned a guitar with humbuckers, but played on mates. I actually like the hum and the edge you can get out of single coils, it suits the stuff i like to play mostly (britpop, blues etc). I am thinking about getting something with humbuckers for playing muse&related - i want the clarity for that style :)

It's a bit like digital clarity vs vinyl records tbh :L

  • Hello there, so does this guitar stay in tune pretty good? I am thinking about getting one but I want to make sure that it could last through a show.

  • @JustinTCB how long a set are you planning on playing? it's pretty good staying in tune tbh. It'll stay in tune for a good 20 mins of improv. I dont do much with the tremolo though tbh, not sure how well it fares after you've given that a good go.

  • good sound!

  • @coventrypunk the bigsby comes as standard from epi :)

  • @coventrypunk Bigsby <3

  • amazing play, good job :) I'm deciding wheather to get this guitar or not because im not sure if it would be good for the type of music i would like to play. I would like to play along with bands such as the arctic monkeys, the killers, we are scientists, the fratellis, paramore, etc. And do you think this is a good guitar for not too much distortion? THank youuuU!!!! <3

  • @xfoggiiieex it is a LUUSH guitar. seriously, it sings. the video quality doesn't do it justice tbh! It is amazing with or without distortion, and you can get a lot of sounds out of it. i use the bridge pickup for this sort of stuff, but i played in a jazz group for a while and you can get a good deep tone out of it with the neck too :)

Also, it's got a pretty shallow neck, which i soo much prefer to my old strat.

as you can tell, i love this guitar! :L

  • reallly good love the wildkat

  • dude ur picking sucks, but anyway the guitar sounds pretty well on chords but picking sucks whatever

  • omg awesome!

  • @colourfulman hahaa thanks! :)

  • nice guitar haha

  • Great sound! ;)

  • @AlexRUS94

    Cheers man (:

i'll stick some more on when i'm not knee deep in exams! :L
