  • thx for karaoke~! <3

  • Did you do the words yourself, because I can count some spelling mistakes.

  • how do you count spelling mistakes? Its written in romaji, a fake version of japanese made for anime freaks who dont know how to read real japanese. There is no correct spelling...

  • Ohh~ Ha ha. I see. Gomen!

  • Sorry, but you're incorrect. Actually, there are many different standards of Japanese romanization. Hepburn, Kunrei-shiki and Nihon-shiki/Nippon-shiki are the three standards most commonly used. Furthermore, Hepburn has three variations: Traditional-, Revised- and Modified Hepburn. Hepburn is based on English phonology and is therefore the easiest one for English speakers to pronounce correctly, which is probably why it's the one most widely used. Hepburn has been used in this video.

  • I speak Japanese. I think you got it mixed up. Katakana is english words in Japanese originating symbols, Hiragana is Japanese originating words in Japanese originating symbols, and Kanji is words taken from the Chinese in their original form. this is Romaji, Japanese words in English letters. :)

  • Mixed up? Mixed up what? Yes, I know what kana and kanji is but now we were talking about romaji. :P

And if you are a native Japanese, I don't doubt for a second that your Japanese is better than mine, BUT that doesn't mean you know everything about romanization. (You don't even use it in Japan.) And when you said that it has no correct spelling, I could not agree since there are several standards for how to spell when writing Japanese in romaji. (Like Hepburn, Nihon-shiki and Kunrei-shiki.)

  • xD; Do you take Japanese-classes? If thats the case then your Japanese is far different then mine =p Where im from is Tokyo, where we speak sort of "slang" japanese, sort of way different from traditional japanese taught or learned outside tokyo's borders. ^^; And since you even said it yourself, Romaji isnt used in Japan, how could there be correct spelling? Gambatte for example, we dont even use "m" but its "correct" according to wapanese. And "konnichiwa"? Here its "Ganbatte, Konnichiha" :)

  • My methods of studying Japanese are irrelevant to this matter. We are discussing romanization here, not dialects. And do you hate westerners? Sounds like it when you say "anime freaks" and "wapanese". But not everyone with an interest in Japan is an anime freak.

There can be a correct romanized spelling because (my 3rd and last attempt to explain this) there are !!standards of romanization in existence!! (Read my earlier posts!)

    Example:

    Hepburn: hajimemashite

    Kunrei-shiki: hazimemasite

  • ...I wouldn't mind being called an anime freak, actually. I'd take it as a complement XD

  • thz so much! i luv the bit where she sang "blackberry strawberry rasberry..."etc

  • you dummy! Its "blueberry, blackberry, rasberry, strawberry.."

  • just awesome
