:O I didn't go to the stage door! I went to the show last night, and I absolutely loved it! Ah well, I can see if he does stage door stuff on the 26th. ;D
Went to see him last saturday and I still hear him in my head... The show was just brilliant, amazing... don't have the words. Backstage, I wanted to tell him so many things but my only words were : thank you... I want to go back ! ! ! ! ! !
Yeah, I went to see him on Monday, it was a great show. I didn't have any change, the only thing I has was a £10 note, and I was feeling generous, so I just put that in there, lol, but I guess the ,oney was going to a good cause. :) I only waited about 10mins for John to sign. :) Had the tiniest chat with him, because I was quite near the front, and there were tons of people behind me, don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan, but I wouldn't want to hold up all his other fans either! :) xx
i went to see the play 2 weeks ago and waited for John barrowman. Play was great and john Barrowman is a very true , honest friendly guy! I recommend it to anyone.
I was soo lucky yesterday when I went and saw him because I had BRILLIANT seats. Right at the front, and he looked at me!! A number of times too. He smiled as well. :) I met him afterwards when he was signing. Such a nice man. <3 xx
i was in a cafe near the playhouse theatre just after the matinea (not saying where) havin a coffe when he walked in!!! i was gobsmacked witha coffe in 1 hand and my jaw in the other!!!
amazing i carnt wait to see him on the 31st of october in la cage aux folles, i am so excited, and i reaaly hope he is at the stage door, i love john barrowman i am a huge fan xxxxxx
I think he signs all of the performances. He signed mine yesterday. Let me tell you, it's such a great show and he's soo nice in person. :) Great man and a great voice! xx
were was u sat in the theatre and is the theatre small lol, i am sat on the 2nd to back row i think on the upper :P i and i really want to see lol, oh and thanx for letting me know wot he is like in real person, i was sure he was gonna be nice anyway coz he speaks his mind just like i do lol xx
I was sitting in the front row of the stalls, in front of us there were these tables, for people who get them early enough, lol. Yeah, the theatre's small, well, smaller then most; I'd call it cosy. :) I think he signs all of the perfromances (risky, having read 'I Am What I Am' apparently he shouldn't stay in the cold after a show, because his voice gets affected really badly and he gets ill. Wow, now that's dedication. lol).
Basically, what happens, when the play's over, they all take bows and stuff, John asks you very nicely to donate some money which will go to various charities, and then he signs anything you have for him. I didn't even know this, I just brought his book along to read for the long journey from Milton Keynes (where I live). lol. Total luck, right?? :)
did u donate any money ? does he tell u where to donate andhow much or do u just donate as much as u want ? oh and do u have to donate for him to sign anything or does he just sign anything anyway lol sorry for all the questions :p !
theres people in the theatre with collecting buckets, he only tells you what they'd like (notes lol) but says theyre happy with any coins, he'll sign almost anything you put in front of him but you can't have peronalised ones cos he'll be there forever - the guy who plays Georges(simon Burke) did seem to tho, and no you dont have to donate to get him to sign, just be prepared for a long wait to see him =D
I was there on the 7th!! He signed my programme I was sooo happy x
