They did, they're called Lexus SC300s and SC400s

No, they did not. I know about the 90's SC300's and SC400's. They are the same car until you get down to the lack of the Japanese turbo 2.5L engine. Yep, I know you *can* swap in a 1JZGTE or the Supra 2JZGTE.... but it's something that Toyota did not already do for us in the USA and in some cases it becomes an issue in strict emissions states.

Furthermore, this version Soarer was NOT sold here, since it predates the 1990's SC300/SC400 body style.

KahnBB6 is right. This model soarer, The GZ20 and the MZ20 (and MZ21 for that matter) were Japan-only. They are available as grey imports, though.
