FINAL FANTASY VI on PS3 in HD 1080p (JPN)

They should remake FFVI at least for PSVita, with the treatment they gave to FFIV in the Complete Collection. That would be pretty nice.

@labradoido: Yeah, but then who'd buy it? At least put it on 3DS where it'd have a good chance of selling. I doubt even if this game came out for it that I'd allow Sony to screw me by buying that device... maybe if they cut the price and put some internal storage in, or at LEAST let you use standard fucking memory cards.

Anyway, there isn't going to be another like 6. Once the band breaks up, it's gone. Square is now little more than a bad cover band playing pop remixes of old songs.

Final Fantasy VI is *THE* best Final Fantasy game and the absolute peak of the series, it simply doesn't get any better than this (though IX came close). How come this game hasn't gotten a remastered version for the PSP is beyond me. I would buy it on day one.

@ChamberOfAvici Yes, 1 or 2 times in all the game you press TWO buttons at the same time (Sabin Blitz Suplex) but don´t worry, you can have al stuff in the game whit out that Blitz, so play FF6 whit ot worries (Sorry my english)

@omarcostaranta: Haha, yeah right. Those ps1 discs now cost anywhere from 20 to 150 bucks on ebay. Besides I still own my original ps1 discs (F6, Suikoden2, Parasite Eve, FFtactics, etc) and some of them play kinda glitchy on my ps3 (slim), the downloadable versions don't.

Most people familiar with the entire series will tell you that 6 is the very best. It has the most unique characters, a fantastic advancement system (Espers), excellent story, excellent gameplay, legendary music, and a completely insane villain.

One of the best parts of this game is that all of the characters do not just collect dust, you will have several missions where you have to make multiple parties of them, including the final one.

Take it from someone who has played all of them.

I've completed 7, 9, and 10. Working on 8, 10-2, 12, and 13. I'm skipping 11 and 14 for various reasons.

Too bad that here in NA we only have 4 (other than 7, 8, and 9 of course) on the PSN as far as I know. I wish I can get 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 for the PS3. I don't play handheld games ='(.

Maybe I can work my way backwards from 7 and play 6, I don't know *shrug*.

FF6 loads really fast off the disc, I could only imagine how fast it would be loading from internal hard drive! Doesn't load very fast on PSP-1000, though...

Okay, so I plan to get this when it's released on the NA store but I have a question. This is the PSone version that was released years ago right? How are the load times? Since it isn't a disc trying to load, I would hope that it's better. That's what was so aggravating to me when I'd play, I couldn't stand the load times and delays it hitting the menu button and when the menu would come up.
