Thanks. I'm changing the information for this video. I couldn't see where the Haymarket shopping centre was so thought it was included in the new development. I'll ask about it on another visit.

The Highcross was formely The Shires, not The Haymarket. The Shires was developed and opened in the early 90's.
The Haymarket is a much smaller centre nearby, built in the mid 70's and once the hub of the city centre.
The Haymarket became a wreck following the arrival of The Shires, but was given a costly makeover in the late 90's which successfully revived it.
Although no longer the star attraction it once was, it remains a popular destination with locals, if not so much with tourists.
