  • Qpert -

Looking at YouTube after years away, and seeing this reminds me of why I subscribed to you way back then. Terrific - great point, well done. Love the ending shots!

  • im freinds with your son

  • Great to see you out and about! Love the vid: My kids are outta their teens now but one of them is finding it hard to part with the "teen" drama. Hope to see another vid from you when you shuffle them off to college. ;-)

  • Very similar with what I'm experiencing with my teenage children, three of them. To be with them in teenage years must be the most wonderful time of my life.

  • This is a great video but the outtakes take it over the top!!! :-)

  • I thought this vid was going to be about teenagers who were parents.

  • Profound, and well-done as always.

  • wow u look so young in a red shirt and an orange cap............

  • you wise man, you, involving ze kids :)

(can't believe I missed a new vid from you til now! Good to see you!)

  • worth the wait. i loved the ending from your daughter :)

  • kristen

  • I was going through my subscription list, and removing so many worthless video-makers, clicked your name.. and am glad to see you made another video!! More to come?

  • Finally! I missed you so much! Don't go away again. That was cute, too! You seem like a great father.

  • Good one...but you know I hate you too. Roll Tide.

  • Yours is a rare gift akin to a natural star. Thank you for the smiles you have afforded me on this Sunday day!

  • OMG that's GREAT!

  • Great vid!

    Welcome back to the mix!

  • Great to see you, g.

  • SOOO very glad you're back!

  • Great to see you back, gpert! Missed you! Great vid! :)

  • Lovely vid, lovely kids.

You said 'if we wait long enough they will come back to us after the teenage years'. V.true. They move out, they move back, they move out, hey back again already.

  • Cute video, and a very well made point about parenting. I enjoy your videos a lot!

  • welcome back

  • great vid! so true! I bet you'd have a lot to say about another challenge facing parents of teens: trying to stock enough food in the house with three voracious eating machines around...

  • YAY Gpert! Good to see a video from you again :). Teenagers can be fun. I'm only 26, and in 3 years, I'll have one of those in my house. I have to say though, I went into it with my eyes open. I was a step-mommy at 15, and she's a great kid :). -Luggy

  • welcome back G!

  • Gpert Gpert Gpert!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There are some things that kids are unable to learn until a certain number of years have passed (Mom, why would you stay up until I got home?) Waiting truly is the hardest part.

Coping with the waiting years is easier with the right meanings: my daughter isn't trying to drive me crazy or disrespecting me as a parent; she is simply learning where the boundaries are - and children find boundaries by banging into them repeatedly...

  • Yep, having 2 of my own, I can so relate to this! It's true that being a parent to teenagers has its frustrating moments, but most of the time it's just the best thing ever!

ps...I'm glad to see a vid from you again!

  • How right you are!! I pray I survive my teenagers years-- I pray she survives too. LOL Loved the ending.

  • That was great Gpert, glad to see you back! I just did a fun video with my kids too: Title is, Caps, Cards, and the Banana

  • Welcome back, G. You haven't lost a step! Outstanding video, and the end was perfect... it really touched me. Thanks!

  • "... a life at the end of the tunnel..." - That line alone was worth 5 *s (and the TP soundtrack).

Great video, with a wonderful ending. This should be on everybody's Thanksgiving viewing list. Just don't wait so darn long before the next one!

  • Good to see you again! Great video as always! :-) Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  • They DO come back...you just have to hope and pray that you live long enough to see it! They go off to college thinking they are so smart, and by the end of four years, begin to understand how little ANY of us know!!

So glad to see you back! Great video!!!

  • Damn dude! It's been a long time. I love the video. :)

  • I hope all the parents of pre-teenage kids watched until the very end! LOL! Otherwise, you just scared the pants off them!

Good to see you - and a good message in it all. I wonder if there is any teenager that has NOT at some point said "I hate you" to their parents?
