The Chilis are still a band for sure. every one of them deserves a break after their long tours. they do this kind of thing all the time. its the reason why chili pepper albums come out only evey 4 or 5 years.
im not totally sure, but from what i hear, i think by the end of this year they will start writing songs. im not positive though. flea, john, and chad all want to fulfill their side projects, so im not sure when they'll be ready to get back together again.
i think that they might go to australia, flea might want to go visit his family :)
alls i know is, i've been waiting forever for another tour. i haven't seen them in two years and i didn't even like them as much then. i HATE waiting :(

@ktmpeter93 They are recording it now and they played at MusiCares 2010 but John quit and Josh Klinghoffer replaced him. He toured with them for the SA tour and worked with John on his solo albums.
