Zooey you are great! You go slow so I can closely watch. I picked up on my first try! Did 20 rows, now onto Lesson 2! Just wanted to tell you, you made my day!
I would change my addy if I were you...we all have talent!! thanks for the compliment. I bet with your talents there is something you could teach me ;)
You are such a great teacher! You take it very slow and give tips that I have not came across.....washing your hands. I look forward to waching more of your videos.
Lady, this is awesome. You are very helpful to someone who doesn't know much about knitting. You should definitely keep making videos for beginners in order for them to become more interested. Just my 2 cents. Thanks.
I had to watch the video about 4 times, but it worked so well! I really want to start learned to knit so I can knit myself hats, scarves, mittens etc. You're the greatest! On to lesson two!
I know it's a wonderful thing that she mentions washing one's hands. Many people don't realize that the yarn takes to your hands differently if they are dirty etc. This many come as a shock to most people, but you should always wash your hands before you begin anything!
I don't know....watch my hands carefully, go really, really slow, casting on one stitch at a time...you may be going too fast...don't feel bad ...it happens to me too if I go too fast!
I don't think you should drop the stitch at the end of the row. I'm sorry if it seems so but every stitch gets knitted or purled except the first which is merely transferred from the left needle to the right before beginning purling or knitting. This is done so that a neat edge will form as the piece lengthens. It is easier to sew the pieces together if the side edges are neat. I hope this helps. Zooey
Hi Zooeybaby! Thank you so much for posting these videos.
I just discovered them and I'm so excited to be knitting. While practicing the knit and the purl what do I do with the dropped stitch at the end of the row? Should I stop droppping them while I'm practicing?

Thank you Zooey! I'm all thumbs, but with your tutorial I finally cast on 10 stitches. This was the best tutorial I viewed for learning to cast on.
