@kaimano62 u dnt hav 2 hav triceps 2 drive. Shoulders n believe it or not biceps is all u need believe me. Jst hav 2 hav alittle strength. Some ppl also get reduced steering.
hi, I am a C4-C5 quad and drive with EMC drive by wire hand controls but have been trying to figure out how to switch to a setup liked be simpler and more cost effective. where did you get the right hand gas and brake lever? All of the ones I can find are for the left hand, but I need to use my left hand for the steering wheel and control gas and brake with my right hand like you are. What brand of minivan are you driving?
@GimpGear I'm a c4-5 and have same EMC right-hand gas\brake. I think pretty much all controls can be flipped over to right hand gas\brake it's just uncommon. But I too need a cheaper setup next time and the closest manual motion to EMC I've seen are the MPD 3700. They are right-hand controlled, have tri-pin and push\pull like EMC.
wow dude really inpresive, i was looking at how your brake/throtal mechanisem works and it kind makes me wonder how a full hydrostatic transmission would work i will tell you if i ever work that one out
@jamesjdm 'Quadriplegic' is the term used when you have total or partial paralysis in legs, torso & arms (paraplegics don't have arms affected). It doesn't have to be total paralysis of the arms too. Not sure if you're trying to correct this chap's use of the term quadriplegic, but you can see he's most probably a neck injury with partial paralysis of the arms, so is indeed a quadraplegic.
Good for you man!
