yeah , the other Albums are more jazz. i consider the 5th Exotic as the best album from Quantic so far. The others are still pritty good, but they don't reach the awesomeness of the 5th Exotic.
If you like the style, you should check out Bonobos "Black Sands", Portishead and Massive Attack
@VultureCulture2000X Black Sands is the tamest of Bonobo's albums. Personally, I like the other ones better.
Interesting comparison you made with Portishead. I actually wouldn't have thought of it if you hadn't mentioned it, but they are almost in the same ballpark, aren't they?
It's interesting how the the first portishead album "dummy" creates a similar mood as the 5th exotic does. And for black sands: it seams that everybody has their own impression of it. As you can see at my "1009" video there are more persons who think that black sands is not as good as the other albums before. I though "Black Sands" would more be like dark or something, but it seams nobody shares that opinion ;)
@MaxFungProject Also check out Bajka, Submotion Orchestra, Beastie Boys albums 'The Mix Up' and 'The In Sound From Way Out' (NO vocals, I'm not a fan of Beastie Boys rap), RJD2 (more in the DJ realm, like DJ Shadow, but very similar), The Cinematic Orchestra ('Man With A Movie Camera' is easily in my top 3 favorite albums of all time, it seriously blows my mind every time I hear it), Thievery Corporation. That's what I got right now.
@MaxFungProject I highly recommend checking out Younger Brother's new album 'Vaccine'. Not the same genre, but I think you will appreciate it for its unique drum arrangements and atmospheric yet catchy rhythms. Plus the vocals are very dynamic; energetic and passionate and often teetering between longing and fulfillment.
Parts on that track, "The 5th Exotic" are samples from the group Supreme Being Of Leisures, music called "Golddigger" from the album Supreme Being Of Leisures.
Yeaaaaaaaaa! Mate... I have to had to this comment: You're my personal hero :D ! Sincerely tnx for all this great songs! I have all quantic albuns uploaded ;) if you need any plz ask and ill upload to emule ;) shhhhhhhhhh

I'm a very great fan to Bonobo and quantic, perhaps, Tm.Juke is egal on performance.
Massive Attack ,Tricky ,Portishead, are vintage but éponymes artists.
In this moment the fresh power is :The Bodus Band
