@RyanTF2 Lol actally it doesn't say it was made by ID it just has it's logo and Midway's as well. Probably becouse ID hold the rights to the game or something.
@theant1987 well no it doesnt change my point. i was comparing the music of doom 64 being atmospherical where as the early dooms had normal songs instead.
@theant1987 to be fair id rather have a few problems with the game after years of use than have choppy sounding music and slow loading times with a few scratches on my ps1 discs
@NickNSteven Why the hell not? I bought it and don't like it. Most of the levels looked terrible AND didn't play well. I'll praise only it's new monsters (except that aweful final boss).
@theant1987 Well, Doom 2 was the very first Doom game I ever owned. It introduced me to Doom and I was absolutley hooked. A few years later I finally got to play Doom 1 and I didn't see any difference in the level quality. I actually like Doom 2 levels better. But that's just my opinion, it's mostly based on nostalgia anyway.
can u download this for pc cus grainger , game , or gamestarions doesnt sell n64 consoles or games there is a shop in newcastle called ex maybe i should try that out

DOOM 64 is a good game, but i hate to hear that playstation-ported monster sounds, they are awful in comparission with the original (PC).
I consider it superior to DOOM II tough, and for me, the original DOOM (PC) still the best.

Oh yeah, sure, use E1M1 and the secret level theme as an examples of Doom 1's music. Not suspense, Waltz of The Demons, or Sinister.
Doom 64 is the true sequal to Doom 1.
Doom 2 is a low-quality level pack with ][][ slapped on it.

I've had the cartridge problems with Goldeneye and OOT. N64 doesn't age well.
I doubt the former will even work anymore. Why Miyamoto is always one step behind in format I'll never understand.
