  • man that thing can rev

  • who makes a video like this without showing the numbers. douche bags!

  • from what I see you managed to get 304 hp which is spot on with chevys claims

motor trend recently dyno-ed the 2011 mustang, which is rated at 305, and they got 308 hp.

besides that the mustang is lighter and more fuel efficient

all of which adds up to utter dominance.

  • @jeepman787 Come play with my 1980 Z28 running a 502!-Ill show you utter dominance!

  • @BogusBoy2121 Yes, yes you will. I drive a jeep. It is THE slowest thing on the road. Buuttttttt, I was comparing V-6 to V-6. But you should legitimately be proud of your camaro. It's not something everybody has or has the chance to enjoy, so Enjoy!!!

  • and wait v6 mustang is slower than v6 camaro

  • The 2011 Mustang V6 is faster FUCK GM

  • @mustangmikeca it maybe faster but im pretty sure it will break down right in front of the dealer ship in other words ford is garbage ,shut the fuck up and if u like ford go what a ford video and get a life while u r at it !!!

  • @racingchamp101 and mustangmikeca... who gives a fuck which is faster? the important thing is that AMERICAN MUSCLE FUCKING RULES! gm and ford will continue to go back and forth every year, but the most important thing is that no matter who is faster that year, muscle is always faster than that fuckin hello kitty ricer piece of shit weedwackers that they call cars. Honda, Toyota, etc. FAIL ford&gm FTW

  • @MrJakeTenold the only jap cars i like is nissan but i own a rusty crusty handy yenko but my brother is using it he just bought an 04 honda nsx type-s 13,000 <---- turbo ls3 swap preject

  • @mustangmikeca

    Fix

    Or

    Repair

    Daily

    ....'nuff said.

  • @tripleheshy wow, I could google some insulting Chevy/Chevrolet acronyms dumbass

  • how much to the wheels???????

  • i have camaro 2010 v6

in the weel it can give 250 hp

it's fun .. it is faster than mustang GT V8

is there any tuner for it ?

  • their to shity to post thats why he didnt show the numbers

  • Actually the new camaro v6's have 300hp stock at the crank. Pretty damn good for a base V6.

  • actually 304hp

  • so what was it putting out at the wheels?

  • woah woah woah u need to strap i down more...coulda flown off the dyno...had me really scared

  • they need to take one of these and put a big ol single turbo and a buick badge on it and bring back the grand national

  • what are the numbers??

  • lawl irony, camaro on mustang dyno

  • you know there makeing a supercharger for the v6!! it well be around 2500$ and you well be gettin 390 400hp lol that would be amazing from a v6

  • Turbo's are already made for the V6's. A turbo is more efficient than a supercharger, so I'd sway that way. Superchargers take power to make power, so you aren't getting all you want.

  • superchargers do not take power to make power..... where are you hearing that myth?

  • People, and I looked it up, and they, and I, were wrong. Sorry.

  • depends on the supercharger, could be a rotrex or a procharger that is like a turbo, but only robs like 4hp and gives back pretty much double your base hp give or take. plus the powers there and no turbo lagg, turbos are nice, but im a supercharger person.....but hey, turbos work wonders on diesels :) like...best invention on them

  • I'm starting to be more into N/A. Forced induction is being used tons now, and it's nice to be more original.

  • you want origanal go carburated xD

  • That would surprise some people

  • throw a HOLLEY 4500 ultra dominator on it and it should be interesting ;)

  • I like turbos too, but the only bad part is the lag, but there are some new turbos out there that have constant boost going to them so there is minimal lag.

  • You really have to match the turbo to your car. V6 camaros usualy have nearly no spool time with .40-.68 A/R turbos.

  • i dint know, its been about 5-6 years since ive actualy worked on a car , i dont even know were to begin with all the new technology, before turbos used to have lag, guess now they fixed that.

  • yea things have changed. Id say now turbos are pretty superior to most superchargers. There is miniamal lag and the power never dies off. Plus the power is pretty much unlimited.

  • any mods to speak of yet. and did you happen to see Jay Leno's twin turbo V6 Camaro at SEMA? there's realistic hope for us curious V6 guys yet :P

  • Max how much did you get it for, im just asking cuz its a 1LT engine O_o

  • how do you feel about the V6 purchase? would you have liked to get the SS?

  • The lack of physical movement means there is no airflow over the radiator and engine compartment. That combined with the massive ambient air temperature increases in a confined space will cause the car to RAPIDLY heat up. Having the hood open and direct air forced onto it not only keeps the engine from overheating, but combats heatsoak (which robs performance). You achieve a more accurate power measurement of real-world conditions.

Please research before posting in the future. Thanks!

  • lmfao u are an idiot kid... first dyno seen?

  • fucking show the numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ...it's in the text portion of the comments. I filmed it w/ an iphone, it didn't handle the lighting transition too well and wouldn't pick up the display.

  • y dont yall look at the earlier post where he says it lol

  • Nice name bro.

  • yea dude you need to go to a better dyno. my guess is it has somewhere around 260 hp and 245 torque.

  • Madmaxx, where are the numbers?!?!?!?!?!?!

roarpony said: "I can tell it's not giving a lot of HP by the sound of exhaust. Great torque though. ". Really? Can you measure g-forces and ET with your ass-o-meter too? Moron.

  • never mind 246 220. about what i would expect stock.

  • Great video so far, simple, informative and concise.

Can't wait to see your build up of this DD with exhaust, CAI, as I am considering one for my next DD.

If possible please list costs of installation, purchase and any ECU tuning associated with additonal components.

  • I can tell it's not giving a lot of HP by the sound of exhaust. Great torque though.

  • Excellent Madmaxx!

Are you going to tune the ecu? I'm looking forward to more LT videos!

  • What were the numbers? I would think around 250-260 area.

  • 246/220 on the mustang dyno. Completely stock auto, crap air that day :(

Super flat torque curve though, HP curve was a steady upward trend all the way to redline. Next pulls will be w/ exhaust, CAI and fluid change.

  • awesome. thanks for posting this. i was curious about how much rwhp the v6 was making

  • youll get better numbers off a Dynojet..... Mustang dynos suck.

  • 246/220 is very nice on a mustang dyno... MD usually reads about 12% less than a dynojet... Putting my 100% stock 2LT RS on the dynojet saturday...

  • 2010 CAMARO V6 "PULLS 304 HP STOCK "

  • Comment removed

  • dude thats to the crank....

  • yea it does but thats BHP measured at the flywheel, on a dyno it measure RWHP( rear wheel horse power) and its less then BHP

  • 304 BHP * .80% (20% driveline loss on automatic) = 243.2

    Spot on.

  • That's great. Those things haul stock.

  • a v6 camaro putting up relative numbers to a v8 mustang = lol

  • @MrSelfDestruct67

Which Mustang ?? GT 5.0 V8 hahah what a fool that has about as much power as the SS and kills it in 1/4 also so not "lol"

  • @shjesus its 312 stock
