Brilliant game 10/10. This game stands out from the rest. The english verison is just brilliant, it really potrays a superb story of each side tellings it own verison and understanding of what is happening around them. This combined with the lack of introduction to the game (A positive thing in my eyes) really allows you to explore who is telling a truth and who i bullshitting. Its just absolutly outstanding, the best post death adventure games EVER!
@IspodUxie44 Mantid seems to be pretty cool but I thought he was only faking interest to you and minding his own business since he first speaks to you. I think Patriarch and Montgolfier (and maybe Caterpillar), on the other hand, genuinely care about you and wish you to become the most powerful of the Brothers.
Mantid is actually a massive asshole who is trying to engineer an "excuse" to kill you. He's not nearly as much of a dick as Warden is, but he's pretty damn close.
You're on the money with Patriarch and Caterpillar though. Suprisingly Triumphator also cares a great deal about you, which is revealed if you happen to encounter some of his seldom-encountered dialogue. Montgolfier i'm not sure about. I'm not sure if he cares about you or if you're some kind of pawn in a plan of his.
@LuminarNightblade I agree for everything but the Triumphator bit ;) the only random dialogue I remember from him is along the lines of "let's not give a damn about this puny weakling, he's completely harmless and if he tries something funny we can just smash him anyways". He's one of the best boss fights tho. HOOONNNKKKKK XD
I think if you open lots of hearts and then go to see him without fighting him, he says something along the lines of how sad it is that you've let him down, and warns you that he'll be forced to execute you if you stray too far from the teachings of the brothers, adding that he is giving you the warning because he cares about you and doesn't want to have to kill you.

hm...playing the game right now and try to avoid sisters as much as possible (just fill one heart) and be on the side of the brothers...i somehow like the brothers, not all of them, but i dont want to fight them. maybe i'm too scared ;) and feel more sympathy with these deformed creatures than naked claiming and suffering sisters...
His "footsteps" play in perfect symphony with the music lol

Hm... How can you fill only one heart of sisters (except Nameless, I suppose) and proceed further than 1/3 of game world?

@Mastikomanishe
As far as i'm aware, you can't. Excluding Nameless, one heart is realm access, two hearts is passage to the next realm.

Besides Whaler, I think Mantid is my favorite Brother. I even made a backstory about him. =D
