the colors, the way the two circles come together. oh the horror!!! i don't even like it when liam says "the corporation for public brocasting". it just scares the hell out of me. one night, i had a nightmare that the logo sneaked inside my house, and brutally murdered my whole family with a big knife, just like the one chucky had in childs play 3.
to you, those were happy childhood memories, but to me, it was a nightmare from 1992 to today. im still afaid of that old school cpb logo, but im not afaid of the one they have today. please help me overcome my fear
OMG! I loved this closing funding and the PBS logo! I remember the Kellogg's logo and that butterfly from the opening theme! Sure do miss all of that old stuff! I hope I can try to download a lot of this stuff from here cuz I don't have 'em on tape! Thanks for posting it!

After the 2 ding dongs and glass logo, a man says this: This is PBS.
The author of the featured book "Raccoons and Ripe Corn", Jim Arnosky, invites LeVar Burton to his home state of Vermont, where they discuss the inspiration for the story. They take a hike, observing signs of animals such as beavers and raccoons. The book is read by Julia Barr and involves raccoons and mice that raid a cornfield in "Raccoons and Ripe Corn". Arnosky's other books about wildlife are also covered, including "Deer at the Brook" and "Come Out Muskrats".
True but then, they had the funding credits in a star background, The you in Viewers Like You looked like it was signed in cursive, the NSF Logo was in a circle and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting circle was blue.

I saw this PBS Logo when I was little, but too creepy, the announcer most sounds like Harrison Ford or Fred Rogers.
lemonsters2008 4 years ago
The announcer is Liam Neeson from "Star Wars"

This is when the cpb logo doesn't pull away [usually it does when the 2 circles join.]

This CPB logo didn't have two joining circles either. I think it only pulls away if it's followed by a "Viewers Like You" credit.
