@janne5000 max, my iron is old so if I don't put it on max it doesn't heat up.. it's really lukewarm when I put it on another temperature so my settings may not be accurate. I would recommend the heat to be high enough so the curls could curl properly

You should try curling all of it together outwards and then sweeping it to the side. You get pretty much the same effect but the curls aren't individual. Does that make sense? Lol. Try it out anyway, I do it whenever they aren't co-operating with me ^^
