  • This is really interesting.

    This has been a topic in Germany in the nineties and I know people, who let their amalgam fillings remove due to getting headache with them etc.

    Then studies were presented that said that there is no evidence at all that those fillings have a negative impact.

    Now I wonder, if those studies were just released to save money in our health system or if they didn't look careful enough, like: 'None of the guys we observed mutated into an idiot, so mercury is no problem' ;)

  • Insurance companies will not pay for replacement of amalgam fillings in the US.  Believe me I am still paying mine off.

  • "Mercury is no problem" ... like I said, that's NOT what I think, that's what they told us here for so long.

    I always assumed that mercury in almagam fillings actually is a problem and that they lie to us or haven't investigated enough to save money in the health care system, because amalgam is cheap and easy to use.
