  • thanks -works great with win 7 too

  • it works!

  • Thanks so much for posting this, I've now got the hang of it & am happy that it was an easy tutorial to follow & understand. Keep up the great work, I will definitely look for your videos in the future :)

  • If it is using screen capture, when i will try to play it on anything bigger than my laptop, it will lose quality rapidly! WTF?

  • Hey man, I've tried every step you did on this video and it works perfectly, thanks man.. Oh by the way I got one question, do you know if you can record a dvd with subtitles, subtitles from the actual dvd disc??? Because I put subtitles from the start from the disc and in the end when I play through the movie there no subtitles :( please help me out.

  • It records but when i play it later, it doesnt have any sound. Help!

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh My VLC Player doesn't have a record red button

  • @Lumbad2010 Open the VLC player. Go to 'advanced controls'. There should now be a record button

  • my vlc player doesn't have a record. please help

i don't know where to find the red button

  • Thanks! Worked perfectly.

  • man. this is the stupidest method ever to copy the dvd. you are very stupid. sorry but i have to say it. use hand brake software instead of this stupid thing

  • well its doing its jazziness now, fingers crossed it works (i usualy cause technology to give up on life) thanks for the vid, very helpfull :D xxx

  • Great vid man, thanks alot.

  • idk y it's not saving to the documents folder and idk where to find it :(

  • good shit

  • Hey do you have a video on how to burn dvds

  • GOD BLESS YOU!!!

  • ur audio is fine

butwhen i pop in my dvd it has no content inside it

  • so ive done everything the video told me too.. but its not saving to the documents folder.. and i cant find it.

  • @MsLiveLaughLove16 I found mine in my videos library. If you have windows 7 and open the documents folder and look along the left side, you will see your libraries and one of them will be videos. You can also do a search for vlc-record and they should come up. Best of luck!.

  • @MsLiveLaughLove16 check your Videos folder. Or if you have Vista or 7, on the search bar type VLC-record and see if a video pops up.

  • thanks a lot bro

  • i love your voice hah

  • mine doesnt have sound

    help

  • @thewaysons Make sure your sound is on 100 % on the Actual VLC player

  • Thanks for the reply but.. I just went to VLC.cc and downloaded there .. is that not the place to get it?

  • I downloaded VLC free from the net but, it doesn't have the record option. Is that something that only comes from a paid version?

  • lol voice

  • god you guys are dumbasses, if you didnt find it in your documents, GO TO WHERE YOU SAVED IT! OR SEARCH IT IN THE FILE SEARCH!!!!!!!!!

oh my god you technologically impared sons of bitches -.-

  • @terrelkuhlman

    Exactly! Haha

  • @terrelkuhlman just cause people ask a questions doesn't mean they're dumb, just means they're new at this type of thing and don't know how to work with it, they're just trying to get an understanding across, doesn't mean they're dumb, like in Math, if a student doesn't understand soemthing, doesn't mean they're dumb, means they just don't understand the topic they're on

  • @terrelkuhlman who that is quite harsh towards us not-so-tech-saavy people.

  • THANK YOOOOU!! XXXX

  • Its much easier to use imgburn insert the disc and when it pops up just open it with imgburn and click DVD to DVDfile (a pic of a dvd and a pic of one on paper) and it will make it into a ISO and just use a video converter to change it to .avi :D enjoy.

  • @Danhombre

Actually, I was 12 in this video, but the voice is fake. It was raised 22.641% in Audacity.

I am now 14 and use my real voice in my new videos... If you go to my channel and watch "How to Choose the Right RAM - Windows/Mac," you can hear what my voice sounds like, though that was three months ago, so it is slightly lower now.

  • dude...u my hero...lol...u ssaved my time...thanks alot .....

  • Hi - thanks for this video - it will saved me lots of time & hassle by not copying whole dvds. Is the recording in a lossless format or can you change the setting to lossless?

  • @JigsyB

No problem! Please subscribe. And if by lossless you are speaking in terms of quality, I'm not sure. It depends on the version of VLC.

  • arg just wondering doing everything you've said, but the finnished recorded video isn't being recognised by any of the windows progrom (movie maker, mediaplayer, ect) on all of them it said it just wasn't recognised, but on movie maker it says that a codec is needed to play the file, ive used the link that you've added but i don't know where you get the codec bit from. thx

  • This won't ruin the DVD right?

  • hey ty=)

  • Thank u ....got it

  • @MrMzubair786

    No problem!

    Please subscribe!

My channel is three years old today.

  • Cool! So it doesnt rip anything from the dvd? it just records what you want. It doesnt take anything away from the dvd does it?

  • OMFG ITS BUTTERS!!! :O

  • So it only saves as a WMV, Will I need a converter to make it a MP4, my preferred format?

  • @MatoroIgnika

Yes, you probably will. I'm sorry. If you don't mind, why do you prefer MP4 on Windows?

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh Mainly because my portable devices will only recognize that format, also, I tried this method and it worked Brilliantly, aside from the file being 5 1/2 GB. :P

  • @MatoroIgnika , use the Freemake Video converter, it changes the format of video to a variety of formats..... its free and spyware free. (google it)

  • @dragonfly6611 Downloaded it and it works fantastically, thanks for referring it to me.

  • @MatoroIgnika; Why your welcome ;DDD

  • Thanks! I've been wondering how to do this for a while now. Thanks for the program and showing it works.

  • @13CGWolf

    No problem! Please subscribe!

  • Ty it works
