ahaha, its kind of a drag, but you can downgrade you ipod/phone without a lock button, and there is a firmware that does NOT require a lock button to jailbreak i beileve it is version 3.1.3. im sure youtube has a a few tutorials on how to downgrade, and the jailbreak is pretty straight forward :P

@VariantDevil well, to be honest. im not sure if home button turns it on, but once you turn it off with sbs, you can plug it into a computer or a wall charger with sync cord, and it will turn on automatically

thanks, after a drop in the pool i had no idea how to turn it off since the power button didnt work, this helped out, i dont like having to connect it to turn it on, but atleast it turns off now, thanks
