  • I have a 5 inch holbrook toolroom lathe which was made in about 1932

  • That sounds nice!

I picked this one up in a semi siezed state for £20!

  • I wish my lathe was as quiet as yours

  • Thanks! This is noisy by lathe standards!

Are you running with the backgears in, that makes this one very noisey if I engauge them.

  • Good Job!

I have learn this after the school for my first professional training.

  • Thanks, you are learning the lathe too?

If you have the skills to do so (which I don't!) you can make just about anything. One thing that would increase this machines versitility no end would be a tailstock, I will get one some day.
