@handre7 You are correct! You would not have hit that if you were on max bet! You might have, but most likely not! I worked on slot machines and I know how they work! The second you hit that spin button, the machine already knows what it is going to stop on and what you will win!

Not true... machines have a chip that is set to pay out a certain percentage over the life of the machine. No remote controls, no card reading freebies. It's just random luck when hitting the spin button at the exact time. Chips are ROM (read only memory). Can't be adjusted. Thats why the chips are so expensive and are not replaced. What they do is bring in new machines with a lower payout. Play the older machines and you can see the difference. The new ones are notorious for low payouts

I believe the state of Wisconsin has a law of a minimum of 30% or 40% payout. So it all depends on how much money goes into a machine that it will pay out.

@Tokewhichu Heres my personal tip from experience...#1 Always play 1 max bet on the 1st play..then start dropping down to whats comfortable...I rarely play over 20lines but if its hitting i do 25linesx2-4bet...When the machines in a drought do this(cash out and take your card out and wait for the advertisement screen to come up) This usual takes about 2-4min...Then put a diff ticket or bill in..By doing this you can prolong a losing machine and get nice hits since it thinks your a new player.
