  • so what are your thoughts on those programmers such as edge evolution programmers? are they any good or are their any better kind that let you change all your settings without having a big controller like the hypertech tunners

  • I really haven't had to much interaction with programmers. The only one I have worked with is the Hyper tech programmer that came stock with the JGP Silverado for use strictly with the Magnuson supercharger. I really couldn't tell you to much about them.

  • It should work, if you have the 5.3L you can get the supercharger through Magnuson Superchargers runs about six thousand. Everything else will fit I.E. the front fascia, rims and badging. But the key is trying to find it all, VERY hard to get all the exterior body parts. They are all out of production now, Ebay had been the only place I've seen the parts. I've only seen the front fascia show up 2-3 times over two years.

  • Thats a stock vehicle from Joe Gibbs Performance. They install it and sell the truck through Chevy. The design was originally from Decoma. I havent personally found it anywhere else but on the Joe Gibbs vehicles

  • It was a 3.9" pulley putting out 5.5PSI of boost. It is now a 3.4" pulley putting out 8PSI of boost

  • With change of pulley, truck is now putting out 8 PSI of boost instead of 5 PSI. Still have to bring it to get re-dyno'd

  • Well, put on the boost gauge and the supercharger is putting out what it is supposed to, 5psi of boost, thats what Joe Gibbs performance said it had. I'm upgrading the supercharger pulley as we speak, should start to put out in upwards of 11psi

  • Beautiful truck, but Please tell me there is no SC on it. If so, there is somethign major wrong

  • It is supercharged, and I do agree it does not sound right. But it is a magnuson designed SC to work more quietly. But im putting a boost gauge on this summer, so im going to see if its putting out the right boost. It is still getting 335 RWHP which makes it seem that the super charger is doing the job, but could be still short-changing me. I'm looking on putting a smaller sc pulley to after I find out what kind of boost its giving me
