Yeah it certainly on first viewing looks as though that should have been it. I do like the fact that Laurie stands up to Michael instead of running in H20, that makes it all the more satisfying on Michaels death (until they retro'd it as not being Michael)

For starters, with all the authorities there, how did Micheal knock out a paramedic and switch into different clothes? Also, why did the paramedic try to strangle Laurie when she drove the car, and finally, how could an average paramedic man survive being hit by a paramedic truck, flung off a road, and wedge between a tree and the truck and still reach out for Laurie?
The confusing part to all this is when H20 was being made Dimension had plans for a sequel already. So why have to go back in the sequel to establish that Michael didn't die, and then basically kill off the selling point of Halloween (Michael stalks Laurie). I guess it was a big dissapointment to fans that Resurrection looked like "Maybe they wanted money" >.>

The confusing part to all this is when H20 was being made Dimension had plans for a sequel already. So why have to go back in the sequel to establish that Michael didn't die, and then basically kill off the selling point of Halloween (Michael stalks Laurie). I guess it was a big dissapointment to fans that Resurrection looked like "Maybe they wanted money" >.>

Halloween Ressurection was a cheap piece of money grubbing shit that shouldn't even be considered cannon. So yeah, IMO, Laurie's alway and Michael's dead. The only movies that truly count anyway are 1 and 2, but H20 works too I guess.
