the era of megahits and power ballads is long over...yet when one hear these kind of music can't help but remember the days when only the best bands rules the airwaves...will never get tired of listening to winger...thanks for this video man!
As a general rule tthat I've seen... all rock bands when perform "love songs" or soft song they do great. I cannot remember ALL of them, but let me name a few that I can remember:
- Kiss with "Beth"
- White Lion with "when the children cry"
- Skid Row with "I remember you"
- Scorpions with "Still loving you"
- Def Leppard with "Love Bites"
Just to name a few... I hope you guys agree. but yes! Winger Rocks! :-)
@kdwestbrooks It's not worse than Whitesnake still being allowed to play Still of the Night when John Sykes wrote the music for that one, and left the band one album after it was released. That's probably their biggest song and they still play it all day. Just goes to show that whatever band the song got big in is the band it stays with.
@n3osamura1 I'm not a Whitesnake fan but "Here I go Again" is prob there biggest song."Still of the Night" is prob their best song.& I'm not saying there's anything wrong w/ the fact Paul wrote maybe their biggest hit. I didn't say it was their best song. It's a great f'n song tho. & no other group could've done it better.Kip & Reb have done so much great work. They are two of the greatest songwriters & musicians we've ever seen.
