Absolutely love this! Can watch it over and over. My favourite Garbo clip is this short test piece, better than any film sh was in.Just pure Garbo. Started watching you thinking it's going to be a laugh, by the end found it quite touching and moving, just love it, and the music.... beautiful. Any way of hearing more or getting a copy. I wish you every success. PLEASE do Dietrich, how about the clip in the railway carrige from Shanghi Express?

I was actually looking for a lost clip with Marlene Dietrich but I found this little treasure instead. The music is beyond great. Its so touching and mesmerising and well I have never really been a fan of Greta Garbo but with simple means you seem to have nailed her right on. Keep up the good work and if you could find to time then please do Marlene Dietrich too.

I find this quite insulting to the real Greta Garbo who was one of the most beautiful women to ever grace the cinema screen. Obviously this is just a fat guy in bad make-up with some sort of facial tic.

I return to this time and again. It's so incredibly evocative, and spot on. The score is brilliant too. Great music to sort ones self out by. I cannot put my finger on the exact combination of emotions it conjures up. It's the sort of thing that made the ancients build a temple, and worship what they could not completely comprehend.

This is great! I really enjoyed this parody. It makes you wonder too if the test of time caught up with Garbo: her mannerisms during the actual screen test weren't "star quality" then. She really should've left it alone and not go through with the creen test back in 1949. That's why I'm thinking someone or several others had talked her into trying to get back into the movies again when in reality she probably never would've tried.

When I looked at the clip, my first thought was that this man could do incredible film work - either behind or in front of the camera. And, I'm also thinking, that you're probably already are doing just this (hadn't yet looked at your bio here on utube - if there is one). When you can combine technical know-how, along with a clever idea and an obvious talent (and throw in a little camp besides!) then, by Jove, you've on to something! OK, so your eyes somehow are Garbo here and yet in the last video I watched the eyes were definately Crawford. That's excellent. Not only do you do a good video technically, but your make-up ... or something ... turns you into the characters quite literally.
