@teerell92 I used the included foam adhesive tape and screws to mount it on part of the plastic in the footwell. The passenger side light ended up being the one to fall off the most, so I eventually took both tubes out.
u should have put the lights farther under so you cant see the actual light but just the glow but i like the idea of it. im thinking of putting sm in my car
I doubt autozone would do the wiring as its a very simple one wire connection, and the guys there are usually busy. I have one power cable with an inline fuse running to the positive terminal on my battery. I then found an open hole in the firewall to bring the wire through (hardest part of install). I then wired in a switch to turn the tubes off and on. I'll post a video this weekend on the install.
i wanted to do this same thang 2 my car, but i also wanted 2 put metal floor mats. do u think thats more distractable b/c it wud reflect the light from the metal??
No it would be alright... I have changed my mats to metal ones, and it doesn't reflect enough to distract me. It does improve on the over all brightness though.
Bought everything at autozone. Make sure ya get a wiring hookup with an in-line fuse, that way you can run them straight from the battery, and not worry about messin anything up.
They are... If you would have read the vid description you would understand that the camera is sitting on the center console, a lot lower than someone sitting in the car would be able too see. Only the light is visible to passengers.
No not distracting at all... its low enough to where mine dont reflect on the glass or anything... I'm also thinking about putting in some more but idk yet
when you have neon lights like that, can you turn them on and off? or are they always on?
