Unfortunately though I have to use oxygen because of my lungs not producing. But yeah this is a disease that really needs to be researched more cause docs don't have much treatment for it.

Its not normal for a 50 year old man to die of Pneumonia. Sarcoidosis can scar the lungs which makes them more vulnerable to infection.

The treatments for sarcoidosis suppress the immune system. I doubt he would have died of pneumonia without the sarcoidosis.
