with a duo core with 2.5 ghz it good enough for gaming. with a video card 512 mega frame rate with 45-50 frame per second is good enough. 3.0 ghz sling is good enough not the best of core but it still dose the game for it. Overclocking it to maybe 15 percent more fans to about 3.7 ghz -3.8 ghz is good to.

That good enough a single core with 3.0 ghz it mainly depend in the video card you have processing power is not what you really need with gaming.

Ok I only keep two vintage rigs any way while I recently got lucky on working 780i board for $38. Yes I have tested it with my e6400 and oced it to 3ghz with cheep ram.
