@wmratz Hey I have a 1970 Wagoneer with the Buick 350 and yes it is a bit tired. What would be the easiest thing to breathe new life into it without a full rebuild? Aftermarket headers, a carb, or maybe a Comp cam? I don't know where to start or if I should swap in an AMC 360.
no man still working at it, I have it hooked up the the car's computer running like a sewing machine, I just have to get the Carb setup right, why didn't you have Q-jet running it ?
Is this 350 for a GRAND WAGONER ? AWESOME SOUND! Most people ditch these engines in favor of the chevy 350. I am happy you are keeping the buick gem that AMC put in it these 350 are the best runners of them all!
@JAMESS30288 Thank you! We did pull a Buick 350 Dauntless engine out of the Wagoneer. That engine was too far gone, but liked it so much we grabbed a Buick 350 out of a Skylark and built that up and put it in. Prior to that had a 68 Commando with the Dauntless 225v6.
@thenuge88 Thank you! I need to get some new video/audio cause it is SCREAMING now that it's all together and broken in! Drove it the other day and forgot the seats weren't bolted down. Definitely want to have seats bolted down next time, and seat belts. Good thing we have the 5pt racing bucket seats in the Jeep!
That would be the buick 9.5/1 comp. 260hp?

@windwhipped5 Yes, but now it's more like 300 HP. ;-)
I have other videos posted as well, check em out!

@1968wagoneer Buick & Mopar both used this color on their engines. I think it was just called "Buick Red"

I thought the proper way to break in a camshaft was to hold it @ 2,500 RPM's for 20 minutes.
