You did a good job, i just recommend using stickier rice, it will be easier!!! I use botan calrose rice!! It's usually in the oriental food section of grocery stores and it is white with a red rose on it. It is very useful :D

@JCeverlasting Cooking the rice is like cooking any other rice. The over-all of the taste of nothing special, but that's because I didn't add any additional seasoning. You can get really creative on what you can put in there to spice up the rice balls.

What kind of rice did you use? The kinds of rice we keep in the house don't get sticky enough for onigiri.

@limalicious The kind of rice you need to look for is short grain rice. Long grain rice (or Chinese rice) does not stick and may prove difficult when making sushi. Short grain rice (or Japanese rice) is what you need to look for as this type of rice is very sticky (obviously after cooking ;) ) and will hold very nicely when molding your sushi.

Nori...hmmm, nori does not have an over-powering taste though it does have its own taste. There are also different flavors of nori as well.
