  • LOL, the Sig P226 version, for when you want to make the bear angry before he eats you! HAHA, good tip!

  • I love this video! It was my inspiration to make my own also. Only thing I havent gotten in mine yet is a First aid kit and a compass. :) But i'm sure I'll figure it out soon. Awesome vid!

  • @ashley8072 Making custom kits and cases is a fun side hobby that goes well with guns and survival interests. Saw the video you posted and your kit turned out great; very creative.

  • Awesome kit man! I always loved the Smith and Wesson kit but didn't care for the snub nose. 4 inches is perfect. How is the recoil with the compensator? Are follow up shots fast enough and practical?

  • @TexDeuce The comp does very well with the recoil but the slap in the face from the muzzle blast always gets the shooter's undivided attention.

These are difficult to shoot fast. I've seen a fast shooting friend use one on a bowling pin match just for a goof and it really slowed him down bad. He's an NRA instructor who uses this same gun for his students to demonstrate the fact that with proper instruction even a beginner can shoot one of these their first day at the range.

  • Excellent video man. That was great when the entire target fell over.

  • @MakingMasterClass Have to remember to reverse the stand on that MGM target when using hot 500 Mag's.

  • Nice kit man!

  • That's neat! You should put together one of those spy kits like you see in the movies- the fitted briefcase with the pistols, knives and whatnot. ;-)

  • @sionaprhys Oh, I have one of those it's just not fitted yet. :-)

    Great idea!

  • thats a neat tidea...i love the pelican cases...wow a 500 mag for deer hunting...i can one shot drop with a 357mag

  • Timothy Treadwell could have used you kit, lol

  • Good looking kit. Hopefully you wont need it!

  • @72cmcinc

Yea, I'd be screwed because the gun lives in a safe and the case sits on a shelf in my basement! :-)

  • Cool video! Nice project. Thanks for sharing

  • @jamaicanjjason Thank's for being a regular viewer, appreciate that.

  • Nice job on the kit. Hope you never have to use it!

  • @OneMansSanctuary After reading that book about bear attack survivors who lost eyeballs and got their scalps ripped off I'll probably never go anywhere where I would have to! Thank you.

  • Very nice kit and excellent video

  • @awomansworld123 Glad you saw this one. Thank you.

  • Very nice kit. Thanks for showing brother. I am really impressed.

  • @Glockoma441FA Glad to see someone else out there likes this sort of stuff.

  • Liked it? I loved it!

  • @jaysterb1 Hey, glad to hear that!

  • pure awesome here..hey i like the linseed oil work bench.i see we have the same sheetrock finisher..the slo-mo really showed how it made the 500 brinell flex when it got smacked..does it put dimples in the 500 brinell..you kits way better..excellent vid..

  • @phishst1cks That AR500 plate steel does not seem to be affected by the Magnum handguns at all. Yea, where the heck is that plasterer when you need him? Probably out shooting his guns again, dang it!

  • Awesome, thanks for your time!

  • @skankmuffin It's pretty fun to shoot on camera, lets me watch the expensive ammo burning up as many times as I want. Thank you.

  • Nice video man, lots of good gear in your set up, love the 500 mag to.

  • @kysteelworker Thanks, I appreciate that. Stay safe on the steel!

  • How do you carve out the foam for those? The vertical cuts would be easy but how do you do the "horizontal" ones?

Does the foam come in layers to make it easier? Thanks for the entertaining video.

  • @lunchboxtheman An electric carving knife, like for a turkey works best. Vertical cuts first, then measure the thickness of the object but leave a little extra for cushion. measure the cut-away portion from the bottom side so the smooth top is always the part that's visible. Hot glue if necessary. Thin layers of Plasti-dip spray make the foam more durable but the first several layers have to go on REALLY thin or the solvents will dissolve the foam. Layers usually are the wrong size.

  • Way better than the Smith version! How could they leave out the death camera?

  • @DcTiger12 Yea, gotta have the death camera, this aint no Martha Stewart video!

  • What do you use that 500 to plant corn? Wow! That thing really turns up the soil. Awesome

  • @fumasterchu12 Plant corn in the spring, dig potatoes in the fall. It's the all purpose farm implement!

  • haha, 1 cartridge may be all you need :) very cool!

  • @ArtisanTony Just loaded some 400 grain, 500 S&Ws today, that's only 37.5 grains from being a 12 gauge slug but a lot faster. I just have to trick myself into thinking the gun is empty when the trigger breaks on that one shot so I don't flinch it into the dirt.

  • @theKGB65 dirt shooting is cool :)

  • Nice kit,I wanted one of those but could not come up with a reason to buy one. I guess if you just want it that is a good enought reason.LOL

  • @mcrafton89 Same here, but I just really like cool stuff. Made this back in '07 and still enjoy having it around. This kit even made it out of the house... Once. :-)

  • haha love it.

  • @Bladdy06 Alright, thank you.

  • @theKGB65 you're welcome. I'd like to make one of these for myself with a Ruger in .44 mag.

  • @Bladdy06 That's a great idea... Love the Ruger Alaskan .44!
