Federal Income tax is unconstitutional, our founding fathers wrote he Constitution that way for a reason - government control leads to tyranny! A government is a tyranny when it sets itself above the will and judgement of the people and refuses to comply with the wishes of the people.
Ms. Ham: Rachael Ray doesn't have "mad cooking skills" so the only thing lacking in your RR attempt is that you aren't giggling every three seconds. ;-)
Ok, I don't know if conservatives do this on purpose, or they just don't understand complexity. I read the column and he didn't say the deficits were no longer important, he proposes keeping them from growing. Beyond that he says the revenue from raising taxes should be used to for social programs rather than a clinton-like "deficit reduction act".
Actually, now that you put it that way, I'm not sure the nation is ready. I mean, could Ted Kennedy still blow off Chappaquiddick if his chins didn't jiggle? Would Karl Rove look like an actual human without those chubby cheeks?
Thin ice that would put us on, my friend. Very thin ice.
I have plenty of life, thank you. And I dont watch more than a few seconds, because, like I said, "Zzzzzzzzz." I won't bother any more, that's for sure. Malkin's more fun (and so easy!)to make fun of.
I don't make stock racist cracks about Asians, you lying sack of shit. And I've got something for you to roll off your tongue. Yes, that's spelled "tongue."
Personally I say we grab the republicans by the ankles and beat the democrats with them. Being a "little l" libertarian I agree with the republican fiscal principals, I just wish they would live up to them.
Tax cuts or tax hikes aren't the answer (I say this with near zero real economic expertise but here it goes). Control the spending. I love veggies and all that MKH but instead of cutting collards, perhaps you should've been cutting pork.
Tax cuts really are half the answer: tax revenues really did rise after Bush's tax cuts, just like they did after Reagan's tax cuts. Unfortunately, they're the easy half. Cutting spending and pork, as you said, is absolutely necessary, and more difficult. Reagan at least had the excuse of a Democrat-controlled Congress during his administration. Congressional Republicans in the Bush II years made a deliberate decision to buy votes like Democrats used to, and it ended up costing them.
Ah yes, but our biggest problem is that we had a bunch of non-conservative Republicans in office who spent money and legislated pork like drunken Democrats. The answer is neither Democrat nor Republican... it's called true conservatism (not religious conservatism, that's a personal matter). That way, we cut taxes and cut spending. We expect more from our citizenry and let them get away with less.

The Deficit didn't matter when the Gipper wrote the book on the GOP spending like a whole Navy of drunken sailors.

"Federal Income tax is unconstitutional"
Unless the Constitution is amended to allow Income Tax collection.
Prohibition was unconstitutional too, until the Democrat Woodrow Wilson came around...

It looks to me like this woman, who says she's not so good at cooking, is cooking politics in her kitchen. Funny that she does that.

I think that's been tried by a lot of politicians... it usually ends up with an insincere apology and a lot of cash being forked over. :P
How about collard politics? Instead of freedom fries politics?

healthy politics... that would *literally* do a world of good!
