Nice one! The only "problem" tho is when you show them the signed card just before you place it in the middle of the deck. You gotta hide your pre-signed spectator sign in some cleaver way, otherwise it will fail.

pierulesman  I have to agree with you. Not only would it be hard to do infront of a live skeptical spectator, you may also be screwed if they want to examine the card! That can always be a problem. Thaz the difference between magicians on TV your D.Copperfields, Blaine especially and Cris Angel, they never have to worry about ppl asking to examine they cards or props (which leads me to believe some of that stuff is set up and or the spectators are heavily screen and or pre selected.

Yes, my main concern about doing this trick live, is at the end, the rest is fine.

But I´m considering going into a follow up routine, and have someone sign the five, then I make both signatures appear on a single card, the double-facer, then I end clean.

there is a problem tho, when the spectator signs the card you have no idea what they could write there, so previously signed card would not match the card that they signed, and after short inspection they would recognize that the joker they signed is not the same as at the end of the trick.

No, the Joker they sign is the same at the end, it only is different when you quickly show before replacing in the deck.

You don't have to have the spectator sign the card. You can sign the card with the spectators name , hide it, and then force the duplicate card and sign it the same way you signed the first one.

I'm gonna have to say this is the best card trick I've seen. It was perfect. I'm still confused as to how you can make both signatures on the first card and then have the spectator sign the other one and have it match.

it doesn't have to be the same thing just somethin written, so when its flashed before the change the spectator can see the two writings on it quickly but not see what it is exactly, so then after teh change and reveal its the original and theyve forgotten about it
