I think his paintings are fantastic. They appear so vibrant and clean. It is modern Picasso. I would love to have the process of the Ben Day dots to replicate them as cleanly as he did in his works.

Fucking genius Lichenstein, But of course he was not totally american, he was more European and it is still sad to know that Americans will nerver have a good painter. But still if we know about a good american artist is because the monopolio of American museums and its ideology in museums all over the world. Thats why the Gugenheim museum in Spain exist so Spanish painters can paint as Americans.
