  • Around here, they've been having trouble with the cement barriers on the side of the interstates. Snow was plowed up against them which turned them into a ramp. When cars hit them, instead of being stopped, they ramp off of them and fly through the air. So far, 2 cars have gone off the overpass on I-79 that goes through our township. Luckily, it wasn't too far off the ground (about 14 feet) and the occupants of both cars survived.
