4-4-2 is what we need no more 4-3-3 we need people to feed the ball better and a good formation with the right and left back playing wingers and 2 forward wingers it just opens up the defense and wears them out
I've put too much patience on Mikel but after the defeat against Liverpool where he made a schoolboy error, i can't stand it anymore. Mikel is the reason why our first half performance was so poor. The tempo higher in 2nd half when he was subbed. Mikel was too slow and act as the 3th CB and 5th defender. This is why I missed Essien so badly. A DMF who can defend well but also a threat in attacks. Not the slow donkey Mikel who always dawdle with the ball!

I think Chelsea played one of their nicest game yesterday. We were defeated, but our passes were so nice, our football so clean, just to say we dominated the whole game. We were not lucky or sharp shall I say...that's it. Besides, mistakes caused our loss (Mikel), combined with some defensive errors.
People blaming Luiz, you don't know anything about football; he was awesome. Those who think AVB should be fired, I won't even talk to them.
Problem is our main players are getting old. Up front we have noone. Midfield lamps no longer scores his 20. We don't have players that can change a game like robben did. Our wingers not amazing. Only good skillfull player is mata. But he needs the right people around him. Torres is a flop. For the first time in my life i am getting bord of football.

QPR came out of the traps fighting for every ball, they clattered Sturridge, Chelsea's most mobile player at least 6 times in the first 15 minutes, by the time Chelsea woke up they were 1:0 down and 2 men off the pitch. Certainly Chelsea needed to slow down the riddim and let QPR do all the running and then hit 'em on the break.
AVB made many wrong decisions when it comes to the line up. I don't think Luiz was suppose to start the game. I think the defensive line up shouldve been Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole. Two fast RB and LB and two strong CB. Luiz leaves his position way to much. In my opinion Meireles shouldve started instead of mikel, and torres shouldve started instead of malouda. Whatever, this is in the past, and AVB needs to correct his mistakes. Maybe by winning the UCL? :D
@1BBL5 Sorry Luiz can't play the whole defense while Alex and Cole go up to attack, leaving a big open space to exploit, whilst Terry isn't physically capable to lock down fast strikers...Luiz was the only defensive player that was able to block incoming counterattacks. The two goals against us was due to Cech/Mikel and Cole.

Some need to face facts.The manager can only use what he has so AVB can take very little blame. I believe in his football philosophy but we are in a period of transition. We need time to make changes such as cutting off some dead weight and bringing in some fresh replacements. Drogba, Anelka, Terry, Cole, Lampard, Maloda, Kalou, Ferreira, Alex will all eventually go. A combination of our youth system and the transfer market will help. We need a new RB, CB, CDM, (creative) CM and a RW. Patience.

We could have bought Scott Parker,he was good in his last stint here, Last year he was putting in MOM performances with a second rate West Ham team battling for every ball and scored a few crucial point winning goals. QPR came out of the traps fighting for every ball, they clattered Sturridge, Chelsea's most mobile player at least 6 times in the first 15 minutes, by the time Chelsea woke up they were 1:0 down and 2 men off the pitch. AVB made many wrong decisions when it comes to the line up. I don't think Luiz was suppose to start the game. I think the defensive line up shouldve been Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole. Two fast RB and LB and two strong CB. Luiz leaves his position way to much. In my opinion Meireles shouldve started instead of mikel, and torres shouldve started instead of malouda. Whatever, this is in the past, and AVB needs to correct his mistakes. Maybe by winning the UCL? :D

@1BBL5 Sorry Luiz can't play the whole defense while Alex and Cole go up to attack, leaving a big open space to exploit, whilst Terry isn't physically capable to lock down fast strikers...Luiz was the only defensive player that was able to block incoming counterattacks. The two goals against us was due to Cech/Mikel and Cole.

@PXranks our defense was really good throughout the entire game, i cant recall a single shot other than suarez's free kick. they had 2 shots on goal, thats it, cech didnt have a save. our defense played great just those 2 slip ups that keep breakin us. They totally dominated the second half. liverpool had 2 shots on target and they both went in. reina made a sick save off ivanovic and malouda had a great chance to score the 2nd or just place it infront of lampard or mata, we played well but the results still wont come our way. its frustrating to see newcastle and tottenham ahead of us right now

Some need to face facts.The manager can only use what he has so AVB can take very little blame. I believe in his football philosophy but we are in a period of transition. We need time to make changes such as cutting off some dead weight and bringing in some fresh replacements. Drogba, Anelka, Terry, Cole, Lampard, Maloda, Kalou, Ferreira, Alex will all eventually go. A combination of our youth system and the transfer market will help. We need a new RB, CB, CDM, (creative) CM and a RW. Patience.

some people don't realize that boas is building a new chelsea. he can't do this in one transfer window and not even two. abramovich will not sack him if chelsea finish in top 4 and qualify for CL. the current chelsea squad is mourinho's, a squad that's used to playing defensively. he's trying to build a team that plays more attacking football and at the same time can defend. let's just hope that abramovich is willing to spend in january to bring in what the team needs.

AVB should shoulder some of the blame BUT he should not be sacked. The tools he has to work with are not as sharp as they once were. The current players aren't going to work in his system - they're too old and too slow off and on the ball. I just wished he realized this and came up with some sort of compromise in tactics.

@socool34534 yeah. a true footballing fan would know that sacking avb would be dumb. We paid a fortune for him and if we sack him we will have to pay a huge sum as compensation. Plus he is just gotten a few months in the job. he should get at least two seasons to build his team.
